Man this Ashes remains one of the best contests ever in test cricket history. The 2005 Ashes is always at the top but this November 2013 test series remains my favourite. I remember actually getting up in the morning,being in India, to watch this series and that was the best thing i ever did🌚😂

brettsanders1 KP held his nerve better than Johnson - that's definitely winning a battle in cricket. Given, KP was the instigator, but he got into Johnson's mind for a moment there. And to do that to the guy who demolished your team all summer long - that's a win. But boy was it a joy to see Mitch tear through his opponents, and tear apart team after team! Hope he fully recovers from his infection soon.

Beaujangles McJiggle I meant the specific moment shown in the video. But I agree that bowling is physically more taxing, although I tend to swing the other way when it comes to mentality. Being one of two batsmen in the middle of 11 opponents, particularly with one bowling at over 140kph consistently, and more than likely verbally hassled by whoever else surrounds you requires more togetherness in the mind. If you're able to sneak a peek into the workings of the man trying to take your wicket, you have a little victory. But it can be difficult to distinguish between a physical and mental performance, since each affects the other.
