I was the believer in the thorns for so long from a child to June of this year. With a genuine desire, I tried to draw close to God in my own strength and was "good" for a time then fell again, over and over, then the cycle would repeat. Until I truly let go of pride and the love of money (this world), God didn't fill me with the Holy Spirit. Now I see, now I hear, and I understand and listen. I feel so foolish, though I am so grateful God by His grace lead me out of the world and into His Everlasting Arms. I joke and say God was like this poor soul doesn't give up, He tries to follow Me with but he's blind so he keeps hurting himself, send a more than a few Angels to show him The Way. Lol Praise God for His love endures forever. ❤

I couldn't agree more... If the Holy Spirit within a soul is the One doing the obeying... What's key for a believer is to consciously practice awareness of Christ Jesus within, because only the presence of Jesus transcends & transforms... Paradox is an experiential characteristic of Faith, and, as a soul learns the abiding life of only looking to/at Jesus within, Christ Jesus' perspective, thought, emotion, desire & will becomes that of the soul's. Only He rose, and only He can live out His victory through us, right? Take care and God bless you & yours going forward.

Thank you for your message. After three decades of studying the Bible, I've never come across a teaching on this subject as insightful as this. Through your guidance, I've come to understand that the Seed represents the Word, the Soil symbolizes the Heart, and the Field represents the World. Consequently, it becomes clear that Jesus sowed the Word within his Disciples, who, in turn, continued to sow the Word within their own disciples, creating an unending chain of spiritual growth.

The nations will tremble in your presence. 3 When you did awe-inspiring things that we didn’t expect, you came down and the mountains quaked in your presence. 4 No one has ever heard, no one has paid attention, and no one has seen any god except you. You help those who wait for you. Compare to: John 1 Names of God Bible 18 No one has ever seen God. God’s only Son, the one who is closest to the Father’s heart, has made him known. and: John 6 Names of God Bible 46 I’m saying that no one has seen the Father. Yes, Jesus often times took His disciples away to a separate place by themselves. True faith isn't dependent upon concentrating on spiritual stuff alone. "In returning and in rest you shall be saved, and in quietness and in trust shall be your strength. And you would not" Is. 30:15 We think that effort is required when acceptance is what will do the best work in our hearts. Relax and trust and then move forward on that basis; not on the basis of our efforts. He wants us to learn how to trust; not work.

to learn you have to go to Jehovah God, through Jesus in prayer for accurate knowledge and understanding. quoting the verses, anyone can do. but his explanation of it wasn't total accurate. Jesus' parable is showing the accepting or not of his father's words. some won't listen, some may listen but later ignore it. some may want it, but hard times pulls them away. lastly many will listen, want it and obey it, those will be the true Christians.

I’ve been doing a study on Faith and belief. And when I listened to this, my mind immediately raced to the idea that the soil represented Faith (emunah in Hebrew, or pistis for Greek). But not sure just yet. The thorns and rocky soil could be seen as doubt, and so a double minded person. For we cannot have faith and doubt co-existing. One must have absolute faith. And by “absolute,” I mean that which is pure or unmixed with anything other than itself. So a pure faith, unmixed with anything other than itself. My only push back is on the idea of the heart. I recall the Hebrew word for heart being “Lev” or something like it. And Jeremiah 17:9 comes to mind “The heart is deceitful above all things, and disparately wicked, who can know it” Of course that might really be referring to an unregenerate person. But I’d have to look into it further Keep up the Good work

Seems God is placing similar messages on our hearts! Love to see how He does that. Only thing I would like to add to everything you said is that Jesus uses the same phrasing of "and for those who don't have, even what they have will be taken away" in Matthew 25:14-30, which is the Parable of the Talents. However, in this parable he explicitly adds what will happen to those who don't have. And it is just as you said, we need to "have" is an understanding of who Jesus is and of course to place our belief in Him. Thanks for what you do!

@@thsod4508 wrote "Want more exposure or would you rather retreat into your dwelling places-those reserved for one that lurks and prowls about watching & waiting to attack people that are trying to seek God?" More exposure? Uhhh.... YOU are the one "exposing" yourself. Have you never read about shouting your own sins from your rooftop? That's precisely what you're doing; so says the LORD. So if you want to attack me more, go ahead. You won't hurt me or my feelings, no matter how hard you try. You won't even offend me, heh heh heh. So by all mean, go ahead and pile up more coals upon your own head for your own day of judgment. As for "trying to seek God; you won't ever find Him on the path you take, or in your own way (always insisting on YOUR own terms), but you will be taken captive by Satan to do his will, even more than you are already. So say what you will, literally, because your own words do express your own will from your own heart even as God says. It bothers me not that anyone filled with hate expresses THAT to me, it has nothing to do with me, but YOU, and what you are filled with by your own choices. And as God STATES: to be carnally minded is DEATH but to be Spiritually minded is LIFE and PEACE. So I shall walk away in peace and in the Life, while you spew death and threats (which are meaningless to me). Have a nice day, sinner. Take your own medicine and REPENT from your evil ways. Reply

Belief in something is lacking of understanding, you must be tried and tested, going through life and looking for the truth will eventually reach where you realized the world can not give u the answer you long to know. The key to God's kingdom is the "knowing" , the undeniable truth that you have been denied is because you are looking for everlasting life from within the world of the dead. Nothing you do in this life will fill the void, the wanting the lust of the flesh, this includes food. The will of the flesh is death, but to seek the truth and understand through gnosis is life everlasting. To understand is to go through, you can't take anyone's word for anything, you must know it as if your life depended on it, which it does. You ate of the tree of life this whole time. Now you must eat of the tree of knowledge in order to transcend this age into the new, into your divine knowing of self.

The "most would say, well, you weren't a real believer then." They probably believe in the doctrine of eternal security. But what do they do with passages like 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that *in the latter times some shall depart from the faith,* giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 2 Peter 2 the whole chapter but specifically the concluding verses: 17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 *For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.*

Just like the parable of the Net at the Matthew 13:47-50 this particular parable show the fish of all kind caught at the same time, like the Weeds and Tares where they grow up together then at the end they are separated. This is very similar to Revelation Ch 13 and 14.

Romans 10:20 Isaiah said more clearly: I have been found by those who did not seek me and have revealed myself to those who did not consult me. 11:6 By grace, you notice, nothing, therefore, to do with good deeds, or grace would not be grace at all! All the Glory & Praise belongs to God!

Sorry but it is not by faith alone. Works are required to complete your justification before God. We know this because James 2:24 says you are justified by your works and not by faith alone.

@@dman7668 Ephesians 2:8-9 Because it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith; not by anything of your own, but by a gift from God; not by anything that you have done, so that nobody can claim the credit. Saint John 6:29 Jesus gave them this answer, ‘This is working for God: you must believe in the one he has sent’. All the Glory and Praise belongs to God!

@denispariseau2438 you don't understand Ephesians. Let me explain how ephesians doesn't talk about justification by faith alone. Or the false protestant doctrine if Sola fide. To understand Paul’s meaning in [Ephesians 2:8-9] I would first like us to take two detours. The first will be to Romans 11:35 and the second, Romans 4. Detour#1: Romans 11:35 This passage says: “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?” Here Paul explains that God cannot be forced into an obligation to give anyone eternal life. Most people understand this but what they overlook in their understanding is that not only can you not do this, but if you even so much as try to do it-it now becomes a sin. Observe how in [Galatians 5:4] Paul says: “4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.” Adam and Eve sinned and then they fell from grace. The Galatians sought to place God into debt with works of the Law and then they fell from grace. This means that their “works of Law”, were sin. It’s not because it is a sin to do the works of the Law under ordinary circumstances-it’s because once you do them with the intention of forcing God into an obligation to justify you THEN it becomes a sin. Detour#2: Romans 4:6-8 In Romans 4 Paul wants to tell us that his teaching about being saved “apart from works” is not some new teaching. King David talked about it, although he himself never uses the word “works”. Instead he uses another word called “sin”-observe: (Romans 4:6-8) “6 David says the SAME THING when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness APART FROM WORKS: 7 “Blessed are those whose TRANSGRESSIONS are forgiven, whose SINS👈are covered. 8 Blessed is the one whose SIN👈the Lord will never count against them.” God justified David for his faith APART from the “sins” he had done before. Sin is just a kind of “work” that you do. In fact if you look carefully in [Titus 1:16] Paul uses the greek word for “works”(ergon) when he is talking about sin: “They claim to know God, but by their actions(“ergon”)they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.” Source: biblehub.com/text/titus/1-16.htm NOW-let us look at [Ephesians 2:8-9] in light of all of these things: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.” Since we have already established that by the word “works” Paul really means sin, how are we meant to understand his meaning with respect to boasting? It’s simple really. Paul’s meaning is that if something evil you did resulted in salvation then you could boast about it before men but NOT before God-since God, unlike men, knows that the thing you’re boasting about is nonsense: “12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”(Proverbs 14:12) Moreover interpreting the word “works” as “sin” yields other dividends for us as we try to reconcile Paul’s teaching with James’s. Recall that in [Romans 4:2] Paul says that Abraham wasn’t justified by works-while James[2:21] insists that he was. The solution is now painfully obvious. When Paul wrote that Abraham was “not justified” by works, Paul means that Abraham never did what was sin to achieve salvation. Conversely James says Abraham did works which were good, and these works justified him. To wit: Paul was using an absurd scenario to get his point across. So there is no contradiction. It’s just two apostles using the word “works”(ergon) in two separate contexts. What does this all add up to? Well what it means is that one cannot use Paul’s phrase “not of works” to derive the meaning that Paul denied the necessity of doing “good works” in order to achieve eternal life, since such statements were only ever talking about “sin” to begin with and not a commentary on the necessity of doing good works themselves.

Since we know that no man searches for God and none are good...Romans 3, I believe it is the work of God that makes the good soil to receive the gospel. Eph 1:1-23 It is only the hand of God that can make the soil good...for His Glory. The good soil was prepared before the creation of the world and in God's timing it produced the fruit of belief. In ourselves, we can do nothing. Love your ministry!

When the Bible says "none are good" this doesn't mean "nobody is good anywhere " this was just Paul quoting the old testament. There are people who are in fact good.

Because of the fall...sin entered the world and everyone is a sinner. That is why Jesus came to die for us because there is none good, none seeks God. We were DEAD in our trespasses and sins without hope. BUT God made us alive together with Christ, and by Grace we have been saved. Eph 2

@morningstar1334 No, that isn't true. Sin may have entered the world but that does not mean "nobody is good" that passage isn't talking about everyone. Are you saying the disabled who are mentally impaired "are not good"? Or children that have not reached the age of reason? That passage you cited is taken out of context. He wasn't addressing all of humanity. Just the audience he was speaking to.

1 Corinthians 1:4-10 kjv I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

It clicked in my mind with sudden realization. The Scripture. That explains Pharisees' actions and that explains some of Jesus' Disciples' actions. Not only just crowds, but also the Disciples and the Pharisees. They are actually getting the "answers" that they're physically seeking for, but they're not spiritually seeking the "answers" that they can't hear nor see directly from Jesus, or rather God himself. It makes me wonder how long until it took Disciples and other people actually understood His Words. It explains why Jesus's preaching/teachings are actually showing them to how to be kind to neighbors and learning truth with hearts rather than learning lies with minds due to His warnings of False Teachers/Prophets (that applied on Historians/Writers, too). Because it proved the weak minds are easy to tricked than to trick the strong hearts. Once you let minds be tricked, the hearts followed with hesitate. That's why Pharisees quickly rejected Jesus because Pharisees had mental pictures differently of what Messiah actually looked like before they actually meet Jesus in person and they also realized the truth too late after the Veil torn in half incident. The Devil, the Satan, the Dragon, The Snake, and The Fallen Angel - all known as Lucifer, is well-known mind manipulative with silver tongue. That Serpent is capable of distorting God's Words in the way only Mankind's Minds to see and to hear what they want to see and to hear. Like how Greed blind/deafened people. How Anger blind/deafened people. Even Ignorance can blind/deafened them as well. It's scary to think about what we actually see & hear what we are suppose to see & to hear.

Col 3:1 says " if you have been raised with Christ seek the things that are above v2 " Set your minds on things that are above, not on the things that are on earth" v3 " for you have DIED, and your life is hid with Christ Jesus". So, what are the things above? v10" put on the new nature, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator" v12 " put on then, compassion, kindness, lowliness , meekness, patience.......and above all put on love." These are the fruits of the Spirit. Question, have you been RAISED WITH CHRIST? Col.2:12 tells you how " you were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also RAISED with Jesus through FAITH IN THE WORKING OF GOD" ....." God made ALIVE together with him.." Now, have you DIED WITH HIM? BEEN BURIED with him? has your old man of sin been crucified with him? Are you freed from sin? Read Romans 6, it tells you how to die, be buried and raised with Christ, to walk in newness of life.
