The defensive mindset of this team is so important. Every steal, tov, defensive fouls, charge taken is another opportunity they wouldn't have at making a point. At the end of their games, those take-back plays balloon into double digit wins. Not only that, but players like Caruso who averaged 28minutes on the Bulls are down to 20minute on OKC. If you know how Caruso plays, he hits the floor, taking damage and usually taking him out the game for 10+. When they play hard defense in early games, you don't have to play during garbage time, sustaining their overall health. Injuries stack, so when you don't have to play your hardest defending players, they risk less injury. Also want to put this out. OKC is looking like a real dynasty if they play like this through out. Where Curry jumpstart 3pt era, I think the Thunder have started the defensive era if they get rings this season. If yall know who Herbert Jones is, he's playing for Pelicans. Just today, news that lakers are looking to trade for him since he's a All-NBA defensive player. Defensive players who can disrupt the 3pt game just like the Thunders. Having 3pt sharpshooters worked in the past, but I think there's an addendum the way the game is played soon enough. The addendum that if you can shoot 3s, you have to play D. PS. That's why I don't want Giannis on the Thunder.

Sad for Chet cuz no matter what he did if he stayed healthy he would a been top 3 DPOY but as we see now, there good even without him.
