My main take away from this episode is to figure out why you are alive and what are you willing to die for. Answering this will then change the way you live your life. Thank you for an amazing episode, I will be rewatching this a video few times. Keep up the amazing work and thank you guys for being teachers and not influencers.

This is a great episode! I would say for my husband and I, we would like to adopt. The main issue with it is the cost. I do pray though that if parenthood is for us, it will happen by the grace of our Lord. God Bless you guys!!!

I can see why Sal and the gang hold this man to such high esteem. You guys have so many great guests on, but this guy's something else. He really started striking a chord with me at 1:33:48. I'm often in my head way too often, and sometimes I just can't get out. His gap method to manage feelings and options, and maybe looking at issues from the outside, really opened my mind here. Particularly to address my frequent anger or my once or twice a month (but highly intense) depression. Apart from that I'm very tempted to get rid of the mirrors in my house, at the very least the ones in my home gym. Apart from them distracting me and making me too self-absorbed, I'll never really see my progress in the mirror if I'm checking for it multiple times a day. This episode has left me with a lot to think about. Truly, I can't say it enough, what a great episode and guest. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, that the mentor of a group of dudes I consider my own mentors turns out be so incredible. Thank you all for existing and providing me with a lantern in this huge void.

I loved this episode and every interview involving growth or self improvement outside fitness. I first came to this podcast to learn more about the “Pump” and I soon realized that I was gaining so much for the “Mind” as well. “Mind Pump” was a great name for your podcast because you guys are the absolute best for improving your mind and body by enlightening us with these intelligent people and through your own knowledge of fitness and experience in your own life! You guys inspire me so much as a 24 year old young man to keep pursuing growth in every aspect in my life. I can’t thank you enough!🫡

I’m a long time listener and This is probably the most important episode I’ve seen, this man needs to be heard around the world. AMAZING partnership here, a perfect example of helping and wanting others to win. I loved the fearless talk about religion and Christianity, my jaw almost dropped with Justin bringing up Matthew 7, and where that took the conversation. Well. Done.

I'm glad I listened to this even though the title suggested the subject was mainly being a better parent. At 67 with my 5 kids grown and gone, I didn't want to hear all the ways I screwed up (and there were many) as a Dad. It turned out to be a lot more than the title suggested.
