Nice video as usual. Please make a video on the different career paths for postdocs. and also can you talk about the visa options (pros & cons of each) for international postdocs in the US?

Yes we can talk about those!

Thank you for your guiding videos. Question: I m done with my PhD and currently I have two Postdoc offers in two different universities that have different rankings and the same salary range. Can you tell us more about how to make such a decision ?

If you’re in the US the salary will be the same across the country. I wouldn’t worry about salary range and would more think about the university and the lab.

As a new graduate student hoping to do a PhD, these videos are very helpful! Being a professor would be amazing, but the many years of post-doctoral work needed and the little faculty positions available makes this a very difficult path to go down. Would you say that a young scientist would find more success in industry?

I think the best thing is to start your PhD. Either way (academia or industry) you will want to start there. As you progress, you will get a feel for your likelihood of successfully finding a position as a faculty member. There is no doubt more industry positions available. Those that work really hard can and do find faculty positions though.
