Thank you for the video! I've been wanting to try Black Tie. Some people say it's smoky but I don't see incense as listed note. I don't like incense as it gives me headache, do you think it is smoky at all and should I try it? 🙂

Hi Ruth! Oh yes, I'm glad we're past that situation now. I know how to prepare in the future. Eau Noire is incredible, I believe the first release was a Cologne concentration, I'm not sure but I've heard amazing things about that one too.

I really like the floral scents(osafume and tropic of capricorn) I have smelled from Olympic orchards so far so Ill check out golden cattleya. Ive been looking more into trying yellow florals recently as I didn't like them at first. My favorite yellow floral fragrances so far are Diptyque eau moheli, JSP horla, and etat Tilda Swinton like this. Eau moheli is definitely my favorite though.

Ahh! I believe I got Tropic of Capricorn in a set as well. I'll give that one a go. Eau Moheli, why haven't I ever heard of that one, I'll keep that in mind for my next visit to the Diptyque counter. Thanks for joining this small intimate family 😊

What's your take on Celine Black Tie now? Have you continued to use it and do you consider it to be a special fragrance or more on the generic side?

Hey there, great question. I still very much love Black Tie, although, I've stayed away from it a bit more since it's getting a little too warm here. To me, it leans more on the appealing side, and a little incomplete. From the beginning, I have always thought there was an element missing for my taste, and I'm sure the brand had a vision for this and it's okay. However, I still very much love it and I'm close to half the bottle now 😃

single origins coffee is the best and you will also find that there are different qualities, single farm versus estate, regional differences and very important is the roast - first crack, second crack.... also the way you will prepare it (espresso, French press, air press, moca press, V60..etc,) water you will use... my husband and I like to taste different single origins and then we pick our favourites we buy more of

Wow, Petra, that sounds incredible. And I feel like this is going to be a great journey too. I typically use espresso but I feel like I also want to put my French press to good use too for taste comparisons. And yes, I feel we always forget water quality too 🤗

@@theudopantograph Michelle, I find some better for espresso some for French press etc. And grinding! That matters, too - how coarse or fine...it is a science. Recently, we have been enjoing one that tasted like rum pralines (when black, no sugar) but not any pralines, but specific type from my childhood, retro sweets now....🤣

@@petra.andersen Oh yes. It's crazy, I almost wasted an entire bag of coffee trying to get the perfect espresso when I first got my machine. Then I started learning about roasting method, bean humidity levels and a crap ton of information. Can't say I'm a pro but I'm learning and I freaking love it.
