Hi Ladies just found your video today and trust me 22 was much stronger in the 70/80’s when my mom use to choke me out spraying it and it was a EDT. I believe they changed formula due to FDA guidelines and had to stop using certain notes due to allergies etc. I had the EDT 2012 but used it all up as expected. Now I have the EDP and I do not see much of a difference. Of course EDT is cheaper than EDP now fast forward, I just purchased a new 200ml for $500 in 2024. BUTTT the prices are high for all NIche and although they don’t like to call the private lines Niche bcz they’re not singly a perfume house. Chanel has paved the way for many so not sure why people only complain when they raise their prices and PDM, DIOR etc prices are equally as high for less juice…. And same i was a bit afraid to scratch it because of the price and i was not sure to be able to wear it casualy. But i started and now i must really make an effort to switch bags. The celine 16 contains everything i need, it looks elegant but not in your face, and i don t mind wearing it with super casual clothes. It was your happiness and your smile that convinced me. This has definitely happened to me. I think I'm getting better about it. One way I overcome not using my favorite things is to treat my favorites as my defaults and not provide myself with alternatives if there isn't a good reason to. For example, if I have a few candles I really love, I should burn those candles instead of buying other candles I don't like as much.

Yes, I do “save” my favorite things because it will run out if I use it too quickly. On the flip side, Ive sadly had a very special perfume go rancid and had only used a quarter of the bottle. As a perfume fan, I kinda know I wont run out anytime soon. This is a good reminder to wear my favorites! 😀

Yes, it’s true. In 2010, a 6.8oz bottle of an Exclusifs was $250, then it went up to $350 several years ago. Now they’re $450 and the EDP reformulations are just not the same as the EDT. Coromandel EDT was my favourite, but with the EDP it became very vanillic and they replaced the patchouli with sandalwood, and there is less white chocolate and some other stuff. Also, I loved Gardénia EDT, and from what I have experienced with the EDP, it’s not long-lasting.

How has the wear and tear been on this bag?

I went to a Celine and tried this on but it looks weird on me. Hard to explain why. The small one felt too playful, the medium one too bulky. The medium one might look good when I carry it on the shoulder and with a coat in autumn/winter. I might go with the triomphe instead though I didn't want to have a logo bag.
