I had the pleasure of meeting both Si and Nic yesterday and I would just like to say they are as beautiful and just as nuts as on film. I had the best day even though I didn’t find anything at all and had the mishap of ripping my shorts in the first few minutes of meeting them I would do it all again in a heartbeat ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ xxx

I have so many comments..... That Matthew is a sweetie! You mudlovers have such a wealth of knowledge, about all sorts of stuff, antiquities and their periods, how to clean and take care of everything you find, you care about the environment and about the people who could use or get hurt by that horrible knife, you search in all weathers, in all conditions, night time as well, and have amazing eyesight to see such tiny objects, even in the dark. I always get a little buzz when I see a new blog from both Si finds and Nicola White. You are both so interesting....and I wanna be a mud lover too! But a bit hard from here down under. At least being in lockdown I have plenty of time to devote to you tube. Thanks for sharing all you trips out with all your fans Si. We are grateful to the max!!! There I think that’s about it..... I love when you find coins and you can identify them. That’s so cool!! I always show my sons them and we would talk about what it was like back then the coin was made. My favourite author that wrote under several names, but her legal name was Eleanor Hubert, would combine the story with real history and she talked about the great fires of London in two of her books and the way she described it you thought you were right there watching it. I found it so interesting that you found a coin from that timeframe. You must’ve been so thrilled!! Congrats on your finds and I’m happy your friend did find some treasures as well!! That token is most apt just now. The dread 'Black Death' was raging though London at that time and the Great Fire cleansing is often associated with the ending of the plague. That strip looks like a much beloved hairclip. You can see where someone did a couple of repairs on it to hold it to the backing. So much fun in the details!
