So many hot summer nights were spent in the SCUMM Bar. It’s fitting that Melee Island was also caught in its own eternal night. I’m so familiar with this scene that I could draw it from memory. This game kept me company on endless nights and made my world just a little bit happier.

Man, I miss this style of graphics. Something about the huge amount of detail they were able to put in such a low number of pixels triggers the imagination to fill in the rest for yourself in a way that modern games don’t replicate at all. It’s awesome.

The funny thing in the scumm bar is that when the cook leaves the kitchen and he is on the other side of the bar guybrush can spend hours in the kitchen without any disturbance. Simply epic!

man can I just say this channel has been a lifesaver recently? Hello! I am sorry that there hasn't been new content in a long time. It boils down to two things: 1. Most of the games that I know really well I have already done. If I've only completed the game once or twice, it's much harder process. I either have to try to memorise the order in which I want to solve the puzzles, or deal with having to do lots of editing to make the final product in to a smooth and uninterrupted story. 2. It's just a hobby. I don't monetise my videos (nor would I want to.) At the end of the day, I've got other stuff going on and don't have as much time to make videos as I used to. You can expect a Return To Monkey Island video eventually. I'd also very much like to do a Thimbleweed Park video and Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis.
