Acrylonitrile styrene acrylate. Seems like a good material! Does anyone pour castings anymore with, say, polyurethane resin? Seems the level of finish you take the 3d prints to would make excellent masters for silicone molds.

Brilliant as usual, especially the ASA filament tip. However, why don't you build yourself a small sander using an electric toothbrush to get hold of all those corners? I did mine using an Oral B brush and it's an must-have tool. If interested, get in touch, and I'll give you the whole recipe on how to make one.

Hello, could you please send me details of the sander, I too am investigating 3D printing, I created a complete layout in 3D, see the world's first fully printed O gauge model railway, the sander would be very useful, thank you

@@3dprintedscalemodels523 take one Oral B electric toothbursh and remove the bristles from the head. Get some sheet plastic and cut a disc the same size of the head oscillating disk. Glue it using 2-part epoxy to the head. Once its dry, cut some double-faced tape, attach it to the pad and trim it. Cut some sandpaper and attatch to to the tape. Cut the excess off and enjoy.

Say, you have an accent, and the engine looks American. Are you in the United States? It's not a problem if you do. It's that most modelers (99%) model equipment of where they're from. I'm just curious.
