We live about a 90 minute drive to the Central Coast of California. I LOVE going in off season and a bit further north. It's so peaceful. Glad you had a great day with the kiddos. 🥰

Vileda has a very good clothes drying stand-up rack. It has two parts which means you can open it fully or just half. Usually half is enough for one load of washing. It has wheels so you can move it around to put it next to a heater or take it outside... It folds for easy storage. And it has a couple of bits to hang coat hangers and even socks. I found mine in Amazon xxx

We live in Barry and definitely do not take enough advantage of being next to the sea! We only tend to go in the winter, when the crowds are lower!

I have the dry soon 3 tier heated airer i 've had it at about 4 years I recommend you buy the cover for it it speeds up the drying got it from Lakeland solihull.definitely worth the money.X

Gloucester services is so good that we occasionally get on the motorway to drive 1 junction from the middle of Gloucester just to go to it 🤣 never thought we'd make a trip just to visit a services but there we go. Wish the back staff entrace was also a public one because we could just go through the back lanes which would be so much easier

Lakeland heated drier is superb. We got both our boys them when they went to uni and now 10 years later they still work great! Get the cover as your washing dries super fast and costs very little to run x

My home town. The best chips are at papas - so good and yummy. Plus it’s flat - great for grandad. Many years ago, this morning did a episode on Weston beach too. You need to achieve pay out for the plush - cheaper at shop disney. Sorry no outlets in Weston. The two islands in the sea are called flat holm and step holm. T4 on the beach was at Weston for many years too.

@@brummymummyof2 next time head to sand point - national trust, lovely walk with mini beaches hidden away. Drive along sandbay and then the toll road into the centre of Weston. You go through the woods and see the old pier (there are two, the original is getting so bad and such a poor condition). In grove park, there is a garden built and designed by ground force for Jill Dando. It’s worth the visit - free to visit. There is also knightstone island - now flats and some cafes, was swimming but nice to walk and hide with lunch without the seagulls. Also Roald Dahl went to school here too. Margo cant go on the main Weston beach April to September/October depending on Easter. She can go on sand bay beach / sand point. The museum is good too especially Clara’s cottage.

They are the platform ones, soft leather with the zip up the side! Highly recommend. I wore them in the house for about a week with HUGE socks first to get them broken in x

I wore my Converse to Disney in February this year. Ended up with a hairline fracture in my foot and buggered a tendon as they offer zero ankle support 😞 I had to wear an orthopaedic boot for weeks after to repair…….stick to the Doc Martin’s 😂
