Wish you luck with this game man. You made me want to pick up this game and I’ve been having a lot of fun. This is basically my first moba that I want to get into since it doesn’t have 10 years worth of content to sift through. Also would love to see more guides style videos on what I should be doing in game. I struggle knowing what to do in the mid to late game and how to close out a match.

Closing out a game is a complex topic. The problem is, most end-game objectives aren't a solo thing, so you and your teammates need to be on the same page. One of the ways you can increase your advantage is grabbing Raptor whenever you can. Another way is pushing lanes, creating pressure on the map. The third is getting kills. The fourth is Orb Prime. Your priority should be: 1) Getting Fangtooth - watch the circle on the map and always make sure you're near and at full health when it spawns. 2) Pushing lanes - always clear waves so that if you end up going for an objective or a teamfight, you don't realize a wave is pushing on your inhibitor. I see this way too often where people are too eager to fight and ignore minions which end up taking an inhibitor. 3) Getting kills - this is NOT your greatest priority. It only comes after Raptor and towers. Of course, getting kills will also make taking other objectives easier, but it's not necessary. 4) Orb Prime - usually only worth taking when the enemy is sufficiently pressured or you've killed 2+ members on their team. Make sure you start it as soon as possible so that the enemy team doesn't have time to respawn and rotate to it. When playing solo, it's sometimes hard to follow this advice simply because your teammates have a mind of their own. While you can solo Fangtooth and take a tower, you can't teamfightr or take Prime by yourself so some coordination is necessary. Try to ping and if your teammates don't listen, change your plan and go for a different objective. DO NOT EVER push a lane by yourself on the enemy's side of the map unless you know where they are and have a character that can escape like Crunch or Feng Mao. If there's literally nothing else to do, at least grab some jungle camps or river buffs and recall if you can buy another item. The most important thing in the late game is to act as a team so follow their lead and don't try to be a hero by yourself.

@@Mindtroverted thanks for the info that’s good stuff. I’ve tried a few hero’s but I’ve mainly been vibing with dekker so I tend to ping stuff a lot and that doesn’t work out so I just follow my teammates around and hope something good happens lol

@@dogmaenslaved5434 For support specific tips, here's what I can tell you. Don't take last hits on the minions. Babysit your carry and don't leave them alone unless you have to base or they are so far ahead they don't need babysitting. Only hit minions if the carry is hitting minions. If the carry is only last hitting, that means they want to freeze the wave close to your tower so you shouldn't hit the minions. Only use your abilities on the minions if the enemy wave is huge and yours isn't and the minions are going to crash into your tower because you don't want to do that since you'll lose some farm if they go under tower. For Dekker specific tips: Don't forget your rocket boots. They are a great tool both for disengaging, engaging and getting over certain walls on the map. When laning, use your Q to hit the minion wave if you need to help clear minions and try to line it up so that it hits both the minions and an enemy. Your E wall is an amazing tool to prevent people from running away or chasing your carry. You can even put your E down between your carry and an enemy to prevent them from chasing him, it does a similar thing even if they're not inside it. However, remember that the wall doesn't stop projectiles. Your RMB is your most important ability and you should not spam it constantly on the enemy because if the enemy engages or the jungler jumps on your carry, you won't be able to use it. Save Q for saving your carry or, later in the match, to interrupt scary abilities like Gideon ULT, Grux pull, Howitzer ULT, etc. As fun as it is to get a long-distance stun, that's only a good way to use your Q if you won't need it for something more important after that. Finally, your ULT is also a versatile tool and is best combined with your E. However, don't be afraid to use it even if your E is down. Even if you don't hit anyone with the stun, the slow is pretty significant and hitting enemies that are inside sth like a Gadget ULT will make it almost impossible for them to exit without a blink. Don't be stingy and use your ULT if needed to slow down the enemy that are chasing your teammates.
