Thats kind of the theme of this particular army. Cheap and cheerful start for Oathmark, then onnce i'v played a few games I can decide what kind of units I want for my next army which im planning on beimg 100% northstar plastics.

That compnay has several sets of nice miniatures. Sometimes its a bit hard to find out what scale they are on ebay.

Yeah, as far as I know the castle craft minis (like these) work out a bit on the small side, while the larger scale minis are ogre sized.

I have heard the GW lotr dwarf warriors also work perfectly with the Oathmark figures. They have a few cool characters as well.

I'm not so sure, I picked up a metal gimli a while back and he looked hilariously small in comparison. However I do believe the rangers might scale well if you can get your hands on them.

Interesting figures, given a certain compatibility, one could try to convert some with Oathmark/Frostgrave arms, to give them a certain variety.

I was wondering how I would do sergeants and musicians for my em4 dwarves. Might need to look into Tehnolog dwarves. Also, to diversify the line infantry. UPDATE: I ordered and got in the Tehnolog dwarves (as well as some cannons and a set of the oversized orcs). I got distracted by other painting projects, but I might try my hand at the dwarf army later.

Late comment, but what are your thoughts on the tehnolog orcs & goblins ?

not seen them in person, but it seems like a weird mix, the goblins look cool but are the big things supposed to be bugbears? I think they could be cool if you just picked up s hsndful to use for dnd and the like but not much good for army building.
