@@africanwarrior445 yeah, it is a desk mat. Its HUGE. Covers keyboard and mouse pretty comfortably. Main drawback is that I cannot eat at my computer desk, because it might get the pad dirty. Other than that is great!

I recently owned the Saturn Pro, which I find excellent. But sometimes I would like a little more speed while keeping this "homogeneous" aspect between the initial and dynamic friction. Do you think the p51 could be suitable? Because I hear divergent opinions on its homogeneity. Some say it is, others say the initial friction is really strong and almost muddy. I imagine it depends on the skates and the pressure exerted on the mouse (personally I press like an idiot), but I would like your opinion on the question. Thanks :)

In your other venus pro video you talked about if you are on a control pad you should try to work towards a faster pad to better your aim. I am currently on an artisan hien for the past 2 years and I have no issues with it exactly but I just feel like I want to go slightly slower with a bit more control. I play on 400dpi with lamzu mini and whatever I put on my sens either slow, medium or high I still feel like I want a bit more control. I suppose as mice have got lighter there is less need for a faster pad in some respect. I play tac shooters mainly. I am considering the venus pro pad over the saturn for that reason. I don't want to go too far down to a control pad when I can aim just fine on the hien. The only reason I want to change is to try gain that little bit of control or feedback and avoid any minor overshooting which I only notice when I play aim trainers. Also the XL and XXL size is better than artisan so I get more vertical room which is the reason to switch away from artisan. So would you stay with the hien or go for the venus or saturn.

I'd still pick Saturn because it is the better pad, but you should honestly look at Energon Pro/P-51 Mustang/ES2. That being said, if larger sizing is what you are after, then Energon Pro or one of the LGG pads would be your only options. If you are a Hien enjoyer and want the direct upgrade that is slightly slower but far more consistent and just a better pad, Hayate Otsu is exactly what you are looking for. Best textured pad there is, period. Also, switch to minimum 1600 DPI and adjust your windows & in-game sensitivity. You are actually handicapping yourself on 400 DPI with extra latency etc.

@@its_yifang I was considering moving away from artisan since the sizing but sometimes it is because of the hien’s x/y axis speed change that I can run out of space when moving the mouse up the pad throwing a grenade for example. Would the hayate otsu fix that issue? Then I wouldn’t need another brand pad. It does sound a good option. The saturn could be a step too far in speed for me but the xl and xxl cover the desk nicely over artisan. I am still interesting in if the saturn could work for me or not but I can’t fault artisan quality at the end of the day. I am switching to 1600 dpi once I get a new pad. It sometimes feels too off right now even when I convert my sens from 400 dpi to 1600 dpi on the hien. Edit: decided to try the hayate otsu xl soft instead. My artisan has held up for past 2 years and I think your description will be what I want. Slightly slower and have a bit of stopping power but not too slow like zero. It seems to have better x/y axis that I also want which will make up for smaller size over saturn. Thanks for the help.

Neither Saturn pads have feedback and are rough on skin. The difference I described is very very little and is only compared to each other, but compared to other pads there is no roughness.

@@GeroFPS Saturn Pro is definitely worth the purchase. However, if you want this kind of pad with a bit more texture, perhaps also look into Artisan Zero, which has tiny bit more than both Saturns.

@@satxrnhimself Buy Saturn Pro in soft, whatever size. Buy Xlite V3, whatever size fits you, Xlite Large is similar to Deathadder sizing. Buy Wooting for better performance, mod if it you want for cosmetic purposes, or just save your money.

Sorry I missed this! I wouldn't recommend rolling it up if you can keep it flat, but if you plan on rolling it, make sure the surface is exposed outside instead of the base. You want the surface to be under tension instead of compression.

Saturn pro better than QCK in every possible way, there's nothing to compare because they're just in different leagues. Speed wise they are similar but Saturn Pro is a little bit faster, yet maintains better control and consistency too.

Qck way better more consistent glide. The Saturn pro has much more dynamic and static friction on the vertical than the horizontal that makes it feel weird. Don’t trust this hype. The old Saturn is even better and more consistent than the pro. Awful and overpriced pad.

Saturn pro are a useless pad. The vertical speed is way slower than the horizontal. Tracking feels off bc of that. It tugs and becomes muddy. Expensive as well. Don’t trust all the reviewers.
