AND don't mind being in the video! So many times you'll see a video with blurred out faces or logos (like a company is going to create a fuss about free advertising) These guys aren't embarrassed about their quality of work & know that new work could be made possible because of it😊 If it were substandard work they would want the blurred tool😮

We restore pianos and pipe organs, and it's the same issue. The instrument needs the same thing as the building needs - consistent temperature and humidity. We had a client who wanted to take the pipe organ out of their chapel and replace it with an electronic one, but the building stayed at 85% humidity inside, so imagine how that plays out? It makes me so happy to see this chapel restoration in such good hands. What a jewel of a place! Thank you for taking us along on this restoration journey! Love from Virginia, US.

Thank you for taking the time to subtitle. I also want to thank you for taking the time get perspectives of both paint restorers. It’s so interesting to hear the way the younger man started in the trade and how he continues to be inspired with the craftsmanship and the associated delights of working with antique religious buildings. I also really enjoy being taken to see the workings of things like the old heating system. Fascinating!

The entire interior of the chapel is a painting, and it's clear that it will have to be conserved as a painting would be in a museum. Fortunately you're getting the guidance you need to achieve this. Thank-you for keeping us informed.

Just a suggestion but I think it would be really amazing to make a book about the chapel renovation with all the star owners and then hand bind it in beautiful leather in the style of medieval books like the Book of Kells and create this beautiful artifact that could be on the show in the chapel so that whenever people come and see it they can flip through this magical book and see how much work, love and effort went into it

Absolutely the top top top! How I love learning these small tidbits of history. And to hear, in Elton's own words, how much he loves his work. And glad to see you all going your separate ways at dinner -- downtime is needed, naturally.

10:19 - Stephanie- when the architect/bldg engineer looks into ventilation, ask him about geo-thermal heat. It could bring a constant 60°F ambient temp in fluid-charged tubing filling the hypocaust passages & warming/cooling ventilation air to that constant temperature. No condensation/evaporation swings. Yes?
