This is so true! We once had 5 cats, all male. One of them dominated the rest, bullied the rest, hogged the food. However this same "bully" cat was very affectionate to us humans. I guess he knew how to manipulate.

The thumbnail for this video is from a picture taken in the 50s. I only know this because we have a print of it in our house.

That’s amazing I didn’t know that. I love that picture. Thank you for the information.

All we really know about cats is they move in herds

All my cats were spayed and neutered. My dominant cat was always female. The males made their own hierarchy, but submitted to the queen. I had one neutered male come into a full household, simply walk in, use the box, eat and drink, sleep with me, and take a high rank with no violence or disorder simply on his own personal and very calm power. He submitted to the queen, and on her death, submitted to the queen in waiting. Among my indoor cats, I never had a king. Very different from outdoor unneutered cats who had two separate hierarchies, one male, one female.

It's different here in America. The cats don't have the same accent.
