That sweep picking is on point. Wow Dony, that had to be incredibly difficult to learn. And you torched it. Thank you for the upload. 🎸 🔥

The tone is made it with the STL Tone pack Andy James, you can have fun with that to get multiple Heavy tones.

Man, that is an outstanding performance. Your left-hand "economy" and super-efficient movement is incredible. One of the rare covers side-by-side with the original song or even better. Keep it rockin'!

That was stellar! Are you formal student of Andy James? I have no idea how you picked that song out from ear.
@donycoletta2 жыл бұрын
😂 i wish to be a formal student believe me...anyway you have to listen a lot of times and get into the mechanics of how that part might have been played, some lines are played (i believe) completely wrong by me...but the important is to get your style and the idea (but remember even if you not play exactly how he play the song, the idea have to be played well and sound great by you, otherwise don't do the cover 😂😂😂😂 thx for your comment appreciated

Yeah, I hear you. I’m in my 50s now and used to pick out songs by ear before there was even tablature! It used to take me about 3 hours to get the rhythm sections and 3 hours to get the lead(s) down (using a cassette player - play, rewind, play, rewind, etc.) My playing wound up not being note-for-note, but close. It was good enough and I could later play the song with my band. Again, kudos to your playing. You have great dexterity and finger control! 😄

@@donycoletta I def agree... I wish i could be a student of his academy, specially the video sessions... i must say tho, Andys picking control is incredible, if you watch close he like makes lil thumb adjustments here and there like its just no big thing

I came to learn as Andy never did a play thru. Great!!! Sad that world class playing doesn’t translate to revenue like sports
