I can see huge tensions arising in the family in the future but Kim Jong Un will likely not allow that to happen. Unless his sister has a very cunning plan, she would likely still be punished if he ever found out about such a thing. A very very less severe punishment no doubt, but Kim Yo Jong is still not the one on the very top. And who knows what is going on with the family members we never see, and even his wife. So... it's not impossible that Kim Jong Un could treat his own sister harshly if she plans to hurt his child. Gosh I'm sick of typing Kim. No offense to any other people actually named Kim!

In NK, is age and male the most important when looking at a person's worth. Idk if anyone notices but Kim Yo Jong has immense power within NK, that older gentleman who offered her to sit first was a high ranking NK solider, him offering her a seat shows her status and just exactly how powerful she is. We know this because she also declared the demolition of the reunification monument. She most likely will come to power or be an advisor to the next future heir of the Kim dynasty.

Yong-un giving his sister such a position, not to mention going official with her being his advisor and confident, makes me suspect that she's actually the one with the brain of the two. It's called deterrence theory (in International Relations). They developed them not to use them but rather to avoid been invaded. Without their nuclear power most likely they would've already been invaded or annihilated by the US for sure like so many other countries in the Middle East or Eastern Europe had been.
