I find this type of video absolutely fascinating. It's not a soft option what you two are doing and the dedication required means it certainly would not be for everyone. I would like to thank you for doing what you’re doing. Your channel became my absolute comfort channel over the last weeks. In fact, you guys are helping me a lot currently and I would like to tell you why. When I was 9 years old I was traveling with my family and in that specific holiday I had a very traumatic experience that’s still haunting me to this day. It was so traumatizing that I refused to travel ever again, was not able to leave the house for more than a few hours a day and also refused to confront myself with any kind of travel content. Of course my family still took me with them for traveling but it was never possible without me having extreme panic attacks and constant anxiety. Now at 22, I don’t travel at all, but I started therapy in 2020. We’re now preparing me to start traveling and having sleepovers again without getting flashbacks and end up even more traumatized. As I said, I refused to watch any kind of travel content cause it caused flashbacks and anxiety, no matter how beautifully the videos were made. I couldn’t take it. But now that I found your channel, I started to love travel content. You show me with every video why working on my trauma is worth it and that traveling and seeing the world is one of the best experiences a human can make. I now set myself a huge goal: doing a work and travel in Australia next year. I’m scared as sh!t but I‘m also hopeful and excited. So thank you for what you’re doing. Thank you so so much. I love these occasional "behind the scenes" videos. Not only are they very informative but it makes a change from the travel videos. One thing I'm curious about, that you could cover in a future video, is the van tracking footage as you drive along a road. I’ve been meaning to comment for ages. I found your channel a few months ago after finding a lot of pleasure in watching similar camper van vlogs. I just wanted to say your channel amongst a few others have been a huge help and comfort in a trying time. My husband was out of work from Christmas 22 until mid May and whilst I kept busy myself at work in the day, at bedtime I just couldn’t settle to reading. My mind wandered and I would worry. But watching camper van videos such as yours have really helped. I look forward each week to new videos and save them up for bedtime. Happily my husband now has a great new job and ours worries are a lot less but hey there’s always something to worry about isn’t there. I adore your videos. I don't care about the title or thumbnail: iWatch them all. Emily, I've recently enjoying chicken Calabrese for dinner -keto version. You could easily substitute eggplant or tofu for the chicken to make it vegetarian for yourself. Grill your protein in 26:37 olive oil and a touch of balsamic vinegar, remove when cooked, sauté one or two garlic cloves minced, add 12 cherry tomatoes cut in half, sauté 3 to 5 minutes until soft. Add zucchini [spiral cut], cook for one minute. Transfer to bowls, add protein and mini mozzarella balls.

I 'vlogged' for a while (6 months maybe) but never put anywhere near the level of effort (b-roll, drone footage, etc) that you guys do into filming and creating these videos. I LOVE your stuff. Louise, I wonder if you'd find it easier & more convenient to add an Atomos Ninja 5" or 7" Monitor/Recorder to your setup. It hooks up to the digital cameras with an hdmi cord and uses a SSD drive, which is so much faster and reliable than the cards we put in the cameras. The bigger monitor is much nicer too, but what I love is having all my footage on the SSD hard drive which doesn't take long to load onto the computer. There's 1/4" on both ends of the monitor so you can add the mic on top and just slide the monitor onto the shoe, and the mic plugs directly into the recorder, so all the sound is recorded also. To change to another camera just unplug the hdmi cord, loosen the hotshoe connection and slide it onto the other camera - done and dusted. You can also dual record in-camera with your card and record onto the Atomos also. This does add weight of course and is expensive, but the Atomos monitor/recorders are awesome - I'd never go back to conventional recording in-camera again. Good luck to you! :)

I started to follow because there weren't many travelling around in Europe, mostly every youtuber was in USA, and they don't have to think about things like language or currency troubles. Then I kept following because I like your energy, and the videos are very well made. Its a good blend between your bantering, pretty pictures/shots, information and it makes me want to watch it every time. I can't do it, both because I don't have the interest in it, and because as you show here, it takes ages, and I'm not doing vanlife for that. 😅 So I film when I remember to, mix the videos together when I feel like it (or need to unlock some space on my phone) 😂 It's more like a free memory card/diary that I can go back and see the difference between then and now. And if it helps someone else, then great. 😊

I loved this video and the effort you put in was definitely worth it. Could I be arsed to do all that? Not a chance - I’ve evolved into a crabby old git. Health issues & medication side effects have created a short attention span & limited tolerance. That’s why I appreciate all your efforts. I was already aware of how time consuming and repetitive set up shots are & I would quickly get irritated and lazy. You two (& Joanie) are a delight & I love your output.

What a lovely couple you are! Don’t give up your job and extras, I did that a few years ago, when I was a designer. It put too much pressure on me and slowly I lost the ability to be creative for quite a few years. Now I create because I want to not because I need too! Keep up the good work and carry on enjoying. I think you should enjoy any job you have or it will become a sad part of your life. I think you ladies are exceptional and my family enjoys watching as well. It makes it nice to show my family places they may never have a chance to see in their life time. Thank you for all you do and the encouragement to try some of this for our selves.
