It’s actually a harmful misconception that ADHD is overdiagnosed. It only seems that way because it was badly underdiagnosed and gatekept for decades. It’s a good thing people are finally getting access to the labels and medication that help us.

I think currently it’s weirdly both. During the pandemic the diagnosis of ADD doubled. It was a weird time and lots of people probably felt very out of sorts. On the other side of coin, girls are underrepresented because they don’t present in the same way boys do and will suffer a long time.

I'm going to comment on this as if I'm watching live lol - yes potassium (and all electrolytes) help reduce twitchiness in any muscle! They can help with night time leg twitchiness too. Real housewife Lisa is the one with a son on a mission. She is the one who owns Vida Tequila and drinks, and is a very unorthodox Mormon, so it was a surprise when her son decided to do a mission. She has alluded that she doesn't have a temple recommend because of how she practices. Meredith is Jewish (I think just culturally now)! But low key looks like Lisa until you watch the show enough.

it is a bit disturbing that you don't recognize the inappropriate way whitney handles interpersonal conflict, and the way she immediately self victimizes to avoid responsibility for the way she hurts others. also her lack of communication is a major problem. i get feeling compassion for how she was edited and how she was raised, but the other women were also raised in the same culture and they don't behave like Whitney. so that excuse can only go so far. plus her behavior on tiktok against the other girls since the show airs is also worth noting. i'm not arguing everyone should hate her and gang up on her, but to deny her harmful behavior is also a disservice. also, Whitney constantly testing her friends to see who will reach out... how do you not see that shit as problematic and toxic? I've dealt with a whitney in my life and they are manipulative and draining. it's revealing of your character to find absolutely nothing wrong with her behavior. if you're like, maybe i'm wrong, idk maybe listen to that intuition lol
@ZelphOntheShelf3 ай бұрын
Of course we recognize that! In no way did either of us claim her behavior is fine or not problematic. I just don’t think her level of problematic is as unique as the show might make it seem-there are MANY concerning things happening with most of the girls.

@@Whatiftheresmore1314 “lies” is a funny way of describing mormon history openly accepted by the lds church. there is no dispute that joseph smith, brigham young, and other leaders married children.
@Whatiftheresmore13143 ай бұрын
@@ZelphOntheShelf They were sealed to children. That is different than marriage, and when you research deeper into the history you learn more than just surface slander. Did you know that of those sealings there is not one child that came from any of those sealings? They have done DNA testing from women who claimed to have married Joseph and not one of their children carried Joseph’s DNA. With all the women who claimed to have married him, and little to no birth control back in the day… you’d think there would be at least one child born to him outside of He and Emma’s marriage. But that’s not why I commented. I just think it would be so sad to spend my day mocking and slandering people. Like I don’t believe in the Muslim faith, but to spend every day, and getting rich off of slandering them or trying to destroy their faith would be so empty. Unless you have something better, more fulfilling and hope-filled to offer. But money talks, so I’m cool with that. I would feel empty spending my days ridiculing people. 🥲🥲🥲That’s just me. And millions and millions of people will continue to find joy and rejoicing in the gospel of Jesus Christ, even while other find “joy” in mocking them. ❤️☀️

If you're asking the question seriously, I now have way more time for myself and for the meaningful relationships in my life. And not just the time, but emotional energy as well, to invest into the important, fulfilling hobbies, and people in my life. My sex life is definitely way more fulfilled (before leaving the church I'd never climaxed once. Sex toys were really useful and added a lot to my life). I was a church member who had read the B of M over 10 times. I served a fulltime mission. I worked at the MTC at BYU in Provo. I had my first kiss after my mission. I'd never self-pleasured while an active member. I didn't watch rated R movies (and often stayed away from PG 13 movies). I went to the temple twice a week for three years straight. I was a devote member. I can honestly say that I'm a happier and more fulfilled person outside the church than i ever was in it.
