I am gonna share some thoughts of what I've experienced a few times: when you infuse with energy the basic awareness of being aware, a lot starts to go through your mind trying to get a hold of you. If at that moment you double down on the energy of being aware, the images, thoughts, and stories that come and go increase their speed to the point you are able to see the pointless and untrue nature of all those stories fabricated in your mind. Thats the exact moment when you are able to discern two ways, to let go (it feels like a worm hole about to suck you into the nothingness or everything?), or to step back into the entanglements. This is the moment when fear could stop you from truly letting go. But that freedom, to truly choose. Its there. Not in your mind. Its there. Its hard to maintain, though. It feels like dying and expanding at the same time, but in an energetic way if that makes any sense. Sorry for my little rant. It was a great video!! Thanks so much J

That was a really clear explanation Jorge! Makes total sense :)

What makes the mind's stories pointless or untrue in your opinion?
@maxluthor68006 күн бұрын
yes thats exactly it. Thanks for reminding me. I experienced kundalini once but I've lost the resolve over time due to how intense the experience was. In the back of my mind I do not want to experience that ever again but I'll have to.

When doing Vipassana I always felt like the "not moving AT ALL"-technique was working most effective to get my mind to be COMPLETELY still. Thought it was really nice, BUT of course I did have breaks every two hours.
@Charles4445 күн бұрын
Yeah, it can be a powerful technique in the right context. Glad you got to have breaks though!

I respectfully disagree. The more strength you fight, the more energy you give whatever you are fighting. You are describing the brute force method ascribed to the Buddha, which may or may not have happened the way it's been passed down. I would think the point is not how we think Buddha did it, but how he taught us to do it. But I'm no expert with a KZbin channel.

I would agree with the Buddha :)
