Nearly seven years later, this leaves us with a lot of obscure secrets and interesting details about the games to uncover, and in this video we will be highlighting ten obscure secrets and Easter eggs from the Kalos based games!

Seeing that Mega Gyarados point makes me wonder if they would ever retcon such references into being true. So Mega Gyarados doesn't just look like the mysterious creature, but now that mysterious creature is officially a Mega Gyarados appearing long before Ash and friends visit Kalos. The lighthouse mystery creature is, similarly, now a Dynamaxed Dragonite. The pink floral Pokemon mentioned outside Rock Tunnel in Lavender Town is actually Munna. Obviously they weren't back then, but now that they exist they officially are. It would be an interesting connection, a fun way to have things connect back with Ash just realizing it suddenly. They've probably missed their chance for it by now, but just imagine a flashback episode where Ash revisits some areas from throughout the series, and among them is the spot they found the mysterious creature and it just clicks in his head "oh yeah, that must have been a Mega Gyarados." A fun idea, maybe for the anime reboot stuff they've been doing but probably never actually happening

This only makes me upset that the rumored Pokemon Z never came to be. It could've improved Pokemon X/Y the same way Platinum greatly improved on Diamond/Pearl, as the lore and feel of the region feels great, but I feel like GameFreak moved on to gen 7 a bit too quickly. At least the concept of Z can be seen during the XY anime and manga, so we have a feeling on what it could've been.

With Sina and dexio it reminds me of the sinnoh Dex with Sina being sinnoh and dexio being the Dex part, meaning they may have something to do with the sinnoh region and professor

well to start, in Pokémon ultra sun and moon, the dimension you find guzzlord is a wrecked version of alola meaning chaos and zygarde is the order Pokémon. So chances are that means that the original plot of x&y involved zygarde attempting to stop a future that could exist

Aoi Yuuki is also the voice actor of Eevee...in Let's go and Gen 8 games. Of course this was way after X and Y, so it's natural that's not mentioned in this video. The NPC trainer that uses Eevee in max raids is also called Aoi in Japanese for this reference.

Holy shit! At the start where you asked about which word describes XY, I also said incomplete! Yes! I always felt the same way about those games, so many weird hints and dialogues... maybe they were planning to have a dlc for them, I don't know or maybe they did had planned a third game but ultimately just gave up on it?

Zygarde is the "protector of ecosystem". Guzzlord comes from a different dimension to devour Alola. There was a Rayquaza vs. Deoxys style battle there, but the Pokemon team infamously rushing their games, it'll probably happen in a Sun & Moon remake, if at all.

I didn't even realize how bad gen 6 and 7 looked until watching this video on my big TV. Dang, that looks AWFUL! It's too bad the 3DS could only display in 240p. These games could have looked great.

Remember that the screen is stretched. Video quality isn't just about pixels, but about pixels _per inch._ On the small screen of the 3DS, it looks much better. But emulators are the way to get the best graphics out of those games. You can display it in full resolution, filter the textures, even change the shaders. I've just finished playing XY on Citra, and it looked gorgeous.

@@Dante02d12 I'm aware of that. I've made similar comments about the Switch screen when people complain about it only being 720p. It's know what DPI is and all that. However, even on the 3DS itself, 240p still looks pretty bad. Not as bad as a 40inck 4K TV, but still pretty bad.
