Not just one reason. Everything is right. From food to the air and water they drink and bathe.even if we try living an ancient type life we would definitely defy grey hair. But we are used to all new age stuff. We cannot live like that. Grey hair is definitely a demoralizing thing. When your skin and brain and even your hair volume or length has not changed, grey hair starts and shows unwanted age.

Aside from learning about the use or rice water for the hair, this video is highly informative and educational. I love how colorful the people are, how gentle and revered as women. I have so much admiration for their tradition being passed down for generations, and still being much respected and loved. The communal, helping one another nature of the wash day is what we used to do until we became modern. Even though they are wearing the same clothes, each woman is unique in her body shape and look. This is really wonderful to see.

The water plays a huge part in hair health. When i temporarily lived in a farm, we had water pumped from a spring for our cooking, cleaning and bathing. My skin was so clear (even though i had no clenser), my hair was super shiny and my nails grew fast. When i came back to the city all that changed. The minerals in spring water / river water are rich and pure. The fermented rice has amazing aminos and benefits.

I see a lot of people in the comments talking about how to prepare rice water, but few acrually know how to prepare it or have doubts about its use. As someone who has been using rice water for half a year let me tell you this: 1. For this, you can use either a pomelo or orange for the smell (pomelo is stronger and helps a lot) 2. You NEED to boil the water, ONLY the water: wash the rice lightly the first time so you get the exterior cape off, then wash it again between your fingers for 5 to 10 minutes. Then separate the water from the rice and put the water to boil with the pomelo or orange peels for 15 minutes (you can cook the rice and make something out of it). 3. Put the water in a sealed recipient with the peels and some aromatic herbs or essential oils for the smell and leave it FOR A MONTH. This is because it's the fermentation the thing that helps with the growth, so you need it fermented. Note: DO NOT leave it in the refrigerator. Again, what does the trick is the fermentation, putting it in the fridge will stagnate the fermenting. If you want to make the water last, put it on a sprayer and apply it on your hair before washing it, leave it for 20 to 30 minutes depending on the damage, then wash it as normal. WARNING: This is a protein bomb, if you use it too much of for too long your hair could be damaged. Just once a week of every two weeks is ok. It also works for the skin, making black marks and black heads dissapear ;) Hope it helps

Cut Pomelo/Grapefruit/Orange/Lemon's skin into pieces and soak it in rice water which contains 8 to 10 drops of any essential oil or castor oil for atleast 3 days. After 3 days it will turns into light orange colour. Apply into hair and keep it for one hour and then wash it off 💁🏻♀️

For me, it is incomprehensible that the Western nations pick on China because of political issues. China has old traditions that are cultivated. And has nevertheless made the leap into the modern age. If you accept and respect the Chinese as they are, they will accept and respect us in the same way. And their hospitality is proverbial. I have been traveling China for over 15 years on business to almost all regions, and have only positive things to report, even when dealing with the authorities. And already looking forward to the next trip to discover more valuable cultural customs along the way.

It's their hair care routine as a whole too tho, we could wash our hair with hard water and still get results if we follow their routine. I also have pretty long hair down to my lower back, but I wash it once a week only, using 'daily use' shampoo which is softer in the hair, I also don't use heat on my hair to style or dry it, keeping your hair healthy is a lot of dedication too, it's easy but you have to commit to it.

What a beautiful display of culture that has been passed down generation to generation over 1000 years. The rice water washing is also embedded in their DNA for over 1000 years. .... These beautiful woman have completely different DNA makeup and come from a completely different culture. Just don't get caught up in using something that is foreign to your scalps and body. Fermented water may not be the best choice for our own African hair. These women don't mess with their hair in any way... no added products, no shampoos, no weave, no glue, no gel, no hair curlers, no hot comb, no braids, no front lace wigs, nothing! They let their hair be natural. The problem with us is that we just can't seem to let go and let our hair be natural. We have been programmed to look a certain way which means we have to obtain a certain hair texture. I've been a victim of that thinking too. I would love to see one of these women and thank her for just letting her hair be itself... Just natural hair!

You do never cook the rice dear never First-they take the rice and wash it,don’t throw the water,then soak the rice in water for few hours or a day it depends how strong to you want it to be Second-filter the rice water and boil it with orange peels and any acid fruit but by Chinese friends put even the juice also,let boil without putting the rice for few hours Third-let it cool then add any essential oils you have This is not a must to do-they take the used rice and blend it to make a paste and add some lemon juice,coffee,sugar and honey to make a skin scrub it helped my skin heel a lot.

Hey I don't know if you've tried it before but apple cider vinegar works really nicely. It gives a shine and makes your hair really soft. Since it's vinegar you shouldn't apply it directly to your hair and you shouldn't use it very often. If you Google Dr. Berg apple cider vinegar he tells you how to use acv on your hair. Also try to use less heat and wash it less so that you don't deprive your hair from its natural oils. I hope this helps good luck!

@nidhishetty71723 жыл бұрын
Hey @Zina don't use apple cider vinegar.. it will dry your hair further. You have to follow just one thing. OILING. Oil your hair before every wash. Oil it at night and go to sleep and shampoo and condition next morning. You might need to buy a baby bed protector to place under your head. As for the oil, you can use olive oil or coconut oil whichever is available in your region and add a tsp/tbsp of castor oil to it. Warm it up a bit (just a bit!!!) And apply. Start doing this and you'll love your hair! Lots of love from India ❤️

Check your diet first.. are you lacking basic vitamins and minerals? Do you have a balanced diet? Do you eat a lot of processed foods? Do you eat a lot of sugar? After diet and water intake is in balance, you should notice a huge difference to your hair. Then try the rice wash.
