Why is it that everyone who criticizes the inaccuracies in the JP dinosaurs never bring up the fact that Dr Henry Wu has been aware of the inaccuracies from the beginning and was even told by InGen and later Masrani to make the dinosaurs scarier to attract more of an audience?

Exactly! They are all man made dinosaurs, by geneticists who use multiple different DNA sequences to make them, & actually be able to bring them to life. He says how they had to use different reptiles genes/DNA, & frog genes/DNA to fill in the gaps in the genetics of them & actually be able to make the DNA sequences whole; essentially being able to create them similar to the originals (but not the exact originals of the past cause that would be impossible) and truly bring them to life as real, living breathing creatures. I always hate when people say those criticisms also, because these are some of the best movies & one of (if not) the best movie series of all time. People need to understand and remember that these are genetically man made dinosaurs & not the true original ones from the past.

It’s so weird and uncalled for. People love to start drama where there is none. Always claiming they’ve “DEBUNKED!” the Jurassic franchise when in reality it’s just that. A summer blockbuster hit franchise meant to sell toys and make BIG dinosaur-sized money at the box office while captivating the imagination of the entire world at the same time. Ever since the first movie that started it all, the Jurassic series was never meant to be a science fact, nature documentary series. It’s a science FICTION, blockbuster series! the music, acting, scenes of the original Jurassic Park is what makes it timeless. the Mr DNA sequence still comes across as wonderus to me. brings back lots of child hood memories too of sitting in my room playing the soundtrack continuously and went to the cinema about 5 times when it came out. classic

Giant Turkey's running around a field would be terrifying. The raptors in the novel are more based off of the Deinonychus Raptor and Utahraptor, larger species of raptor. Velociraptor was used as the name because is sounded better.

Even given the movie continuity of the same T Rex being clocked at 30+ mph in Jurassic Park, Claire absolutely could have, and did, outrun that T Rex. A. It's been 20+ years, and I don't know many seniors who can outrun teens. B. If you actually watch the T Rex, she never actually runs after Claire. Claire runs, but if you actually pay attention to the T Rex movements, it only walks after her. It doesn't perk up until it encounters the Indominous.

You see in Jurassic Park at the time deinonychus was referred to as velociraptor Anteropis instead of the more common name deinonychus they were not however referring to velociraptor mongoliensis so technically the only thing they got wrong was the fact that they did not have feathers and that they may or may not have been warm blooded do to further research and studies.
