I agree completely. I learned I was pregnant but the doctors felt there could be cause for concern and told my husband and I to do a D&C. We agreed but God intervened. He worked through another doctor who decided we would proceed with our faith. My pregnancy wasn't easy, but I knew God was with us. Our son came 7 weeks early due to my amniotic fluid dropping to zero, but he was fine. He stayed in the TMC NICU for 12 days for precautionary measures, but he is fine. God is good!!!

Wife and I struggled for a little while, and after telling God that our house will still serve Him regardless and that we understand if kids are not in our future, or not the way we expect, we decided to give it one last try. If it didnt work, then we would focus on being "cool Aunt and Uncle" and then eventually foster and adopt. But God being good, Fast forward to 2022, I have a 9yr old son and 7yr old daughter. 😊😊😊

A lot of people took this movie literally, that if you change your life for God that all will go your way. If you take it metaphorically it's a whole lot better. The movie is trying to show how joyful it is to live for God in the midst of trials and troubles and shows it in the way it does in this movie. =)

Maybe, but what happened in this movie after the team started, "living for God?" Let's see: 1. The team went from losing to winning every game, except when the other team cheated to win and got disqualified. 2. The doubting Thomas on the team was, "saved," and all of a sudden started obeying his father whom he used to despise. 3. The father in #2 (above) then anonymously buys the coach a brand new pickup truck that the coach thinks came from God. 4. The coach, after being told by his doctor that he's sterile, miraculously gets his wife pregnant. 5. The once horrible football team continues its winning streak and wins the state championship after its kicker who earlier couldn't hit the side of a barn from 10 feet away; miraculously kicks a 45 yard field goal, right as the wind miraculously stops blowing in his face. Now, don't get me wrong, I actually am a fan of this movie and especially this scene. But for you to say that the movie doesn't at least off-handedly imply that lives improve by becoming a faithful Christian, then I think you're either a bit naive or are flat out in denial.

I was just watching "The Green Mile" with my family. One part made me tear up. As I said that, my dad told me that one scene from "Facing the Giants" still got to him, and it was this scene because she was told "No", and was finally told "Yes". He further explained that it hit closer to home because of me. When my mom was pregnant with me, a doctor's appointment had the staff telling my mom that I was gone. They made that mistake and brought my mom back in the next day to say I was alive. I had no idea until today that my dad still loved that part for that reason. Now, I'm considered a miracle child (which I kind of dismiss), and I'm doing well!

I never really understood this scene because for 1) I was 9 or 10 when the movie came out and 2) I never went through the pain of trying for a baby and getting negative after negative pregnancy test. My husband and I started this journey of trying almost 2 years ago. Got pregnant august 2020 and miscarried our first angel in September 2020. We weren't living right in God at the time so in a way I was blaming Him for the loss. On Thanksgiving day 2020 I found out I was pregnant again. Got a job to where I have weekends off and my mom got the same job too and she invited me to come to church where some old friends of our were the pastors. Went to my first service in 4 or 5 years. Got right with God again but my husband wasn't there yet. In January 2021 I went into what I thought would be the best moment of my life. It was my first ultrasound to see the baby. The tech put the probe on my belly, we see a gestational sac but no baby inside. I was measuring(with my calculations) around 12 weeks but the sac stopped growing around 7 weeks. It was ruled out that my husband and I lost our second angel baby. February 2021, I had no choice but to get a d&c because I was bleeding and clotting but not passing everything on my own. My doctor was so sweet to me. He kept encouraging me along the way and telling my husband and I not to give up. Two months after the d&c we started our journey of trying again. In the beginning of that journey, my husband gave his heart back to God which is what my prayer was since I gave my heart back to God. After continuing prayers(from us and everyone around us), 9 months of trying, and again one negative after another, we almost gave up in October 2021. My mother said dont give up November is YOU GUYS' MONTH. Sure enough a week before Thanksgiving I got my positive. I called my doctor immediately(as he instructed if I missed a cycle or got a positive test) and he ordered blood draws to check my beta levels and once he saw those numbers increasing, he started me on progesterone. Sorry for the long post but this is mine and my husband's testimony to becoming parents. We have a baby boy on the way and he will be here in august of this year. He is our miracle and gift from God. We both pray that whoever is still struggling to get that miracle too, to not give up. You are strong and God is working on you and He will provide

I survived cryogenic surgery, chemo and radiation for cervical and uterine cancer as a young female. I thought my life, would be ending (according to doctors) before I could celebrate my 15th birthday. I was diagnosed at age 11. On my sixteenth birthday, I was declared cancer free and praying it would remain so, but told I'd NEVER, EVER have kids of my own, which I was ok with, just to survive. I continued with my health regiment, I continued with my medications and follow ups and continued to be healthy. In 2003, I survived a horrific, near fatal car crash (I flatlined four times) for more than 15 minutes a piece, because of a wreckless drunk driver. While in the ongoing physical rehabilitation (that is still underway even today) due to the injuries I survived, my husband and I found out I was pregnant. We were in total shock and terrified, expecting what we were told was a little boy. In May of 2006, our first born (sent me to the hospital in full emergency trauma) to have a c sec, because the baby was in distress, tangled up in the umbilical cord, breach birth. Our first born, a little girl- was severely premature and not expected to survive. Eleven minutes later, her twin sister, arrived. Although our twins were born at under 20 weeks along, which even with today's medicine, is fighting death's door, today we are the proud parents of 11 year old, twin girls, that are happy, physically active, pre teens. If the Lord means for something to happen, it will! Believe in yourself and our Saviour, because in the end, he is the man with the plan! Only he knows what is to be! Doctors, medical technology and all the science in the world, can't overrule, the plans he sets in motion.

I believe 'God/Jesus/Sarayu' was testing her. They were testing her faith and her love. I believe the test was even though if 'God/Jesus/Sarayu' won't give her any kids. Will she still love them? When she said "I Will Still Love You Lord!" "I Will Still Love You!" That's when she past her test. Also, that's when her wish came true. God/Jesus/Sarayu, gave her a baby.
