In this video, t 1 , one of the greatest SWAM Solo Strings players and composers illustrates how to play the virtual violin, viola, cello, and double bass! those virtual instruments are fully physically modeled and have great expressive power. But a great power... :) requires knowledge and control to reach the best sound result ever made with a virtual instrument. Enjoy!

3:26 the playing flaws/quirks in this demo really do make the instruments come alive 😍

Thank you. This is an example of correcting pressure-induced instability. I'll explain it in more detail when I get a chance.

Thanks for comments. I would like to see that field develop as well, as a way to improve input efficiency. Also looking for ways to make playing more enjoyable. My aim is "flexible, correctable, and rational performance input"!

How does the ""Curve" work for External Controller in Solo Strings 3?! This "Bipolar" "Curve" looks nothing like what you are showing in this older video. How are we supposed to navigate this with a keyboard?

Why don't you guys release SWAM guitars? I want to buy SWAM guitars so badly especially classical and flamenco guitars..

Our roadmap is focused on expressive instruments, rather than plucked or struck instruments. Maybe, after that, one day we will develop also guitars :-)

@@AudioModeling Wow...so guitars are not expressive but violins are?...just wow.I guess it's more about what instruments you prefer and not what your customers want. Very nice policy, keep going.

@@encapsulatio guitars are expressive, of course. We call "expressive instruments" those that can sustain and shape a note after the initial input energy, i.e. those that do require Expression. It's not about "what instruments we prefer", it's about what our technology is more suitable for.

Sorry, I don't speak English, so I couldn't do it as well as the typical walkthrough videos. The most important thing is to incorporate bow changes. Just doing that will clearly broaden expressions.
