Thank you so much for sharing your story! I am a stander, my wife 'married' someone else over 3 years ago. God told me and is still telling me to stand...despite 99% of the advice from other Christians, pastors, etc. I am so glad the Lord revealed the truth of covenant marriage!

Hi Shon and Adrienne, God Bless you and your Marriage and Ministry 🙏 My wife divorced me three months ago and we have been apart for 2 and half years. We have three young kids and my stand is bringing my faith back strong and blessing my kids. It has been tough although lately she has started putting my name in texts and been much nicer than normal. I try and live day by day and pray others can do the same. Anyway I really appreciate your videos and new content it keeps my spirit strong - fighting for my family !

Praise God he has gone from hatred and divorce to wanting to come home, but he is dealing with legal consequences of poor choices, loss of everything including our home and still with ow to keep a roof over his head. Sometimes it does feel like you described the side chick but i stand in authority as his wife and help meet and continue to cover him in intercession. Please pray for us if you would, i know if it's not good God's not done...

Ive been standing for 4 plus years and have had several false starts and I know now that until my husband comes back into the will of God we will not be restored. Praise God for your ministry in putting emotions and feelings into words and directions we can understand as standers. This gives me hope that my standing is not in vain. My question is how do you get past those feelings that Gods will may not be for marriage restoration. I am so confident most times but in others wondering if Gods plan is something different for me. That was such a great conversation! I actually made that comment before I even finished listening. You guys are a blessing and you show the reality of doing life with God and the importance of obedience and keeping strife out of your lives. I learned that from Joyce Meyer she said God told her from the beginning that if she wanted Him to bless Her ministry to keep strife out of her life, live a life of integrity and a life of excellence. I adopted all those three and they came with intense testing and stretching to achieve them. But it was worth it as it has changed my relationship with my young adult daughter immensely as she's the only one I have a main relationship with at this point. I'm growing in obscurity under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. He is training me to be a Godly wife for the man God has for me so I am learning a lot from you guys and I relate so much to your journey Adrienne because I'm in obscurity with the Lord and my life doesn't make sense to many but to God the only one that matters . I am so glad you guys are back to use your experience to be a blessing to others. God bless you a hundred fold!

Ahhhhh, what refreshing, encouraging words! I am so blessed, knowing there's more people who believe in covenant marriages. So few people believe that. Even my pastor asked me one time, or should i say a statement, when i told him I have conviction to discover more of what God says about marriage and to dig deep. I mentioned that where did the church go wrong? He looks at me and says, "So you believe in the permanence of marriage?" I said I do. I said i wouldn't mind talking about it with him but he said we'll probably need to agree to disagree. I went home with, wow, he doesn't believe in permanence! So thank you so much for sharing truth 😊 The only people i know of a permanence view are on you tube. Anyway, Adrienne, i can so identify with what you said about thinking, believing that yes! He's coming home soon, only to have it fall flat. In the beginning of this year he came to visit after coming back from his home country, in our conversation he mentioned he had wondered if he should come back to me, and just prior to that i had felt a shift toward a softness to me. But then he said he talked with his friends and they kinda discouraged him. I felt like a deflated balloon for awhile. I also sensed this is warfare! Something is holding him back. Now this summer he said in his own words to my niece in law that yes, he still loves me. This is after 3.5 yrs separation. She asked why we arent together then. He said its complicated. And the other thing i resonnated with was that you don't want them to come home the same person as they left. Plus, in that quiet space to allow God to change me as well. Yes, my heart hurts for him when he goes through a difficult time. Pray i know how to speak with wisdom and discernment when we talk. I love how you speak as the Lord leads, no pre planned script. Looking forward to the next video 😊

My God , bless you Joyce in your stand...We have learned that we can plan out things all we want, but if we exclude Christ from anything we do, he does not have to bless it. We solely rely on the Lord in all things knowing our past is ministering to people where they are in love. For us it is ministry, nothing more than that, void of titles or any such thing (though ordained). The way we are on video is our lives before people, loving on them regardless of their journey. Hmmm how about don’t get married, have as many chicks as you want, and don’t hurt innocent people??
@anuncommonlove11122 ай бұрын
There is nowhere in the Bible that states go get someone else, and also talks about being in adultery if your spouse is still alive. The point of the video is for those who are feeling as though (wife) as they have become the side chick and needs to know there roll as the wife. The side chick is the OW trying to take the place of the wife.

@@anuncommonlove1112hi sister. Yes I get what the vid is about and yes I know people make mistakes but the language being used seems to normalize this behaviour. What you did by not engaging in the same sin was biblical. You didn’t cheat because of who you are as a person and you want to obey God. I’m glad you two were able to work it out but there is no justification for cheating especially if both parties are saved and have the Holy Spirit.
@anuncommonlove11122 ай бұрын
Correct, but we must remember that we cannot assume everyone is saved and has a full blown relationship with Christ. But what we must do is show them what the word says in regards to adultery, fornication, divorce, separation ect. But give it to them in love where they are. Problem is with most is that when sharing the word they forget from where they came from and will refuse to be transparent in how God brought them through. The word talks about "considering yourself", and I believe we tend to forget the pole, the strip club, the blunt, credit fraud, the lie, the cheat and list of other things God has delivered us from when we talk to people. We need to be Biblically sound yet be as a Prescilla and Aquilla how they entreated Apollo's. Without such we become ineffective if we are to reach an unchurched generation.
