“if you’re air roll left, you should never really have to move your joystick to the left to make an adjustment” This is an epic tutorial for new directional air roll users, but this specific tip only applies to new learners. You eventually need to learn to push your joystick all directions and the effect it will have on your car.
@joshj3josh6104 жыл бұрын
I thought he was saying that tip is specific to directional adjustments to regular (not inverted) tornado spinning which is the only thing he did the entire video.
@fluffylittlebear4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I learned this after several weeks of practicing with air roll right. I realized my adjustments were too slow and that I needed to learn to move the stick in all directions. You really notice it when you try to air dribble while tornado spinning. Gonna be so much harder if you're only moving the stick to one side. Also noticed from watching other players' overlays that they were moving their stick in every direction while air rolling. Even Spook moves his stick the other way while saying not to. Lol.

I spend time nearly everyday working on ground and air control; this video is something I’ll implement today. I play with an older fella who’s convinced he’s just holding me down, and at times I think he’s right. I use his downtrodden outlook as motivation to become a better player and figure out how to improve our gameplay as a team. Though he can’t air dribble, flick, wall/ceiling/ground pinch, he can shoot the ball accurately most of the time and doesn’t rage quit. I often send him videos like yours in hopes he watches them and gleans something from it. Today I’m gonna send him this videos and sunless khans 2s rotation video. We managed to get him champ ranking, for one day, in hockey and he couldn’t believe it. I still call him champ today, a rank I personally have never achieved. I almost always play with friends who just enjoy the game, and I never wouldn’t want to change that for them. I do, on a personal level, really want to climb. I recently have been grinding a little bit on my own and am starting to realize the habits that playing at a low elo creates. On this journey, a coach would be invaluable to me and something I would never forget. To have someone willing to help me as I have helped others would feel really good and be a welcome change of pace. I know you’ve seen thousands of comments, and honestly today is the first day I’ve seen your videos, but here is my humble plea all the same. I’m am an eager and willing student. My rank is diamond with just under 1000 hours of gameplay Best wishes and thank you for the content.

There's one way to say this. The level of car control is based on how many series of buttons you know will make the car turn a certain way. It'll be groundbreaking when you learn that you can press a and d instead of always aerialing straight, so on and so forth. I randomly tried tornado spins and next day I intuitively incorporate in in my aerials because for some reason it made sense. Now I know why they make so much sense. I just discovered your videos and I think they're great. Im currently platinum 1 in 3's & gold 3 in 2's and I think I have a lot of potential, if I wouldn't keep missing open nets and easy aerials lul

Diamond 2 Also thank you for this! I have been wondering why its so much harder for me to get the air roll down in the air and wiff at times because of it. But this has helped alot! Great video!

Plat 1 great vid, all about the air roll left life. As your other video mentioned you should let go of left stick half way through the tornado spin. Toying around in free play rn and getting there...sorta.

Rank : diam 3 Sir, you have made my day.. been playing for 2 years, stuck at diamond level without ever understanding how people could readjust that fast in the air... I knew about the tornado spin but the ground breaking discover for me was the Diagonal Tornado Spin... What a game changer ;) Thanks for this and I would like to apply to the monthly giveaway for some coaching :) That would probably help me a ton ;)

Great vid! Between gold 3 and plat 1. Not easy to go further as I'm clearly missing some basics controls

Thank you! Geez I’ve been looking for a basic breakdown of how inputs affect minor adjustments while directional air rolling forever. Earned my sub for sure

I am a low diamond in 2s and 3s but often play with my high champ friends and can keep up with the gameplay. I feel like I need to work on my speed and consistency in order to keep climbing the ranks. Would love to be able to get to champ and eventually GC!
