Fish on 🎣 Benjamin! Love those early bite windows! Yeah, that sniper jig rocks. Noticed you using it on a spinning rig…? I use a casting set up. Do you feel that you can feel the bite better or what is your reason? Thanks man.. Great content and Tight Lines sir 🎉

Thanks for the video, very inspring, I usually winterize my boat in November, haven't kept it out into December before. Also, haven't ever hit the "winter jackpot" like you did. Maybe next December for me on the west side of the state. I'm also a fan of the Omnia app, my only gripe is that the water temp data is usually out-of-date. The lakes I fish haven't had updated data since November 7.

Thank you so much! I have had some pretty brutal last trips just for the sake of fishing into December, but this was icing on the cake for the season. Yes, they’re working on an update to real-time water temps. Their historical temps are nice, but I’m looking forward to more real-time temps too

No small craft. Not worth the risk. Go out with a guide with a boat

I understand for sure. It got cold soooo quickly here too. I wasn’t even sure if the lake was going to be open last weekend. Now time to hibernate for winter :-)

I may have missed it but what size Snipper are you using in that 10-15 ft range.

I am so jealous. It has been over a month since my last trip. Where I live, all my good lakes for bass are closed to fishing (to protect the cold water species, ie trout / salmon) and have been since like September 30th. Just dumb. There are some lakes I can fish through end of year, but the require some travel from where I live and they just aren't as productive as the lakes that have been closed. If youre going to go when it is cold, you might as well HAMMER the fish. The OW Sniper is my FAVORITE smallmouth jig. That thing is a fish catcher and there is nothing like a good jig bite. #2024DONEON22025

That is kinda silly to close them that early, but it does make sense for those cold water fish. That’s my thought too - if I’m going out, I’d rather be catching than praying they bite. That sniper is soooo good. Now to hibernate til open water again. This is my least favorite time of the year
