I put a crutch foot on the end of a bamboo broom handle and use it as a walking stick. I take it everywhere, it makes life so much better. I just found this channel ❤ I've asked several channels if they can do a video on how to defend yourself with a staff using only arm but noone has delivered 😢 I really want to use only one arm

2:55 As a kid, I used to do that with sticks. I also remember how I prefered Donatello of all four Turtles. haha Anyway, that staff training looks fun! Something to concentrate on, while also moving your body and that is even possible with limited space. I'm sold!

I'm partial to my ole bent Beech stick with vine-strewn nobby bits on top, but I just cut down an American Hornbeam to make a Bo. As far as I know, it's the hardest thing in my woods, so it should make a good, heavy stick when it dries. I can't wait

Nothing can properly replace sparring unfortunately. If the combat portion is what you're wanting to improve you need to get the hours in with actual opponents, ideally different ones so you dont stagnate.
