Your initial bird analogy has earned you a subscriber (not really, it was the good advice and well-structured video, but the worms helped). I wish you luck and success on this journey!

The secret to making your dream game is not to watch (or produce) videos, but to work. Work much, work hard, get sh*t done.

Thank you Simon. Your offer some valuable pointers :) I am still polishing up some of my chosen dev environments and skill sets. Just getting some simple Graphics and programming techniques worked out. I will likely try a couple of very simple retro or children's fun puzzles just to get a start, Likely in in C and Allegro as I can write them for a number of platforms. After that I have a couple of simple games I would like to try in GODOT, but one step at a time :) > Taking on too much is a weakness of mine that I have known for a long time. I got myself caught into this trap with the books that I am writing. At first it was meant to just be a simple single introduction to programming guide, but mission creep has expanded it out into a series of about 8 books/guides. I hadn't originally planned on that level of time commitment to that one task :( I am attempting to recover and wrap up the books so that I can get back to more programming and creativity which I enjoy :)

any creative project can overtake artists in scope, if they are not careful. it's cause you get to see so many games, that look so simple elsewhere you don't realize how much it actually takes to make one. definitely start out small and go bigger as you go! (人 •͈ᴗ•͈) I wish you luck and hope it's gonna go well :PP

I’m currently dating a guy who’s interested in game development atm. I showed him this video and he said it was both cute and informative. I too wanted to be in game development since I was a kid and I really hope one day we can make a game together.❤ I hope we share all the ups and downs of game development together to hopefully make something we can cherish. Thanks for making this, it’s made us just a little bit more closer to each other.🥰 bark bark little doggie dev uwu!🐶
