I think you should say that the game developer must be careful with gameplay looping. The reason is that if the gameplay between rebirths is the same, it could be boring

Im pretty late here, and I'm not sure how to make a core loop out of a 2d platformer kind of game. You can collect currency while platforming and spend it on powerups or cosmetics, which is fine, but once you earn all the cosmetics, it gets boring. so yeah im not really sure how i will make the core loop.

I making a game where you need to build a fort to protect you from creatures and you can upgrade blocks and weapons with coins and cash what you get by attacking others or devending you there a story connected but you can level up to unlock more blocks weapons etc and after a bunch of levels you may play the end game from the story then after that a new chapter start But How can i made a core loop with it?

Oh I thought you meant like rebirthing not spend on things that’ll make you regret the time you spend on making your pets maximise their upgrades or building greater houses you know when you’re making a game and it’s this sort of infinitely repeating loop it’s legitimately getting repetitive and matter of fact that’s how you’re making your player uninhabitable and not addicted to waste their time on the game.

Yeah so basically every game has a gameplay loop even if things change. Everything is based on this loop. It can be more complex or less complex and if you add more parts to the loop it can avoid being repetitive.

@@VeryProPlayerYesSir1122 simulators and tycoons are difficult games but in roblox they are easy to grasp and understand which makes it easy for children to enjoy because they see the numbers going up --> feel like a pro but in reality the game is simply trash. Thats why u see arcane oddyssey with 2k players and blox fruit with 400k players, one require actual skill the other is trash but easy for people to play. And when i say actual skill i am talking with reference to roblox skill...a player that played dark souls would find the game playable with his toes lol
