A few years ago I bought a battery box to keep all my batteries in one place. It fits, AA's, AAA's, C and D sizes plus it came with a battery tester, I love it. My kids laughed but I gifted them each a box now they love it too. I keep the box in my hall closet along with a small tool bag that holds some essential tools.
