Cory's analogy of your cable row a couple months ago unlocked a lot of power for me. I thought it was "wrong" before.

What are the possible downsides of that punching technique? cause I love to punch that way. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have always felt that it's a bit hard to have good head movement/use the correct head slots when punching like that.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/qnvKqp98Z7iciq8si=KouH_WuZm6j6mSGM In this fight, Talbott is able to land hard shots and use effective head movement. I don’t know what the downsides would be though
@vaughnordakowski87745 ай бұрын
My guesses would be less lateral movement and harder to defend takedowns. Any wrestler is practically squatting the entire match
@jonassteinberg37795 ай бұрын
The general consensus is that being straight up and down makes you an easier target for kicks, takedowns and really everything, as opposed to being in a more trad stance where you're crouched and ready for strikes and takedown defense.
@ChiefTJBallout5 ай бұрын
lack of mobility
@ponage10005 ай бұрын
Not as light on the feet, less head movement. With his momentum coming forward, he can get countered. Oblique kicks can be a problem. Very strong style, not much issues with it.
