Hi, great question!! yes pin curls are a safe way to preserve your curls and sleep in for years to come. I like cover them with a satin scarf and/or bonnet while sleeping for extra security.

So you would pin curl hair that’s already previously curled and styled. The pin curls allow a great way for you to sleep comfortably and still have beautiful curls in the morning. If the hair needs it, a shine spray or oil before you pin curl. Otherwise, save your styling products for styling the next morning.
