Highly advanced military technologies work pretty much like the advancement of Science and Engineering as a whole which is a state of constant development and improvement. Somewhere in the middle of that, is a combined expertise or crowd wisdom of the community of Engineers. It is this which I consider the hardest part for India and China to copy. Meanwhile it's just too much investment to keep up for the likes of Israel, Taiwan or Korea. The submarines of course have to be there for nuclear deterrence. Aircraft carriers once again support the jet engine. The F35 was bittersweet for the British I think, because of some idiot Congress people invoking the International Trade in Arms Regulations, even when BAE Systems had done a lot of the original research, particularly on the F35B STOVL system with Rolls Royce now operated by USMC. I am however quite excited about the current British project of Tempest, being done jointly with the Italians, Swedes and Japanese. It's a big daddy drone hunting down lesser drones with directed energy weapons.

This I why the US keeps making tanks, even when the army doesn't want more, so they can keep the industry. Germany could manufacture 15' guns during WW1, but before WW2 that manufacturing capability was lost, and their new battleships had 11' guns

Not only did many countries need to design the right stuff, the have to avoid the flops. Most successful designs were preceded by many failed projects. This process of success through failure means a long time to discover the what is and what is NOT a good investment. Many of the USA current military design successes have revealed themselves NOT to be so successful as first believed, because they are too expensive, overly complex, and required too much maintenance, or just don't really work that well. Bigger, faster, more powerful, etc., is NOT always the best. Eventually the weapons are so expensive that they are no longer affordable. Are DRONES the answer. NO. Captured drones are being copied by our enemies. Here is what we do. We buy up some of those big passenger planes from airlines going out of business and put advanced radars and several pods of super sonic ATG and ATA missiles.

Pakistan doesn't makes aircrafts, it barely assembles it. Most of the components were researched and developed by the chinese pakistan just owns the manufacturing rights of it and developed little to no technology for it even the latest version block 3 was being tested by the chinese development agencies. It's like your neighbor india has manufacturing plants through TOT of the sukhoi30mki and T90S and they locally produce it but still it will not be taken as an Indian product while if you look at brahmos india has about 60% of it's components manufactured in India while holding 51% stake at the company of brahmos and that is what a true joint development programme looks like.

The irony of China being left behind the past hundred years by the five countries you describe is that it was in the exact same position of being technologically superior between 800 and 1400 AD, due to having gunpowder technology and access to resources needed that it could construct enormous fleets from. Had they had the chance to become an imperial power between 1500 and 1900, they would have beaten Britain and France easily. But they were too late to the game, got conquered, got taken over by a communist regime, and they’re falling behind.

These videos are great and very interesting. I really like the subjects and the conclusions you reach. For some constructive feedback, I believe two things are lacking to really make this channel explode and gain the traction and recognition it deserves. 1. Unfortunately, your accent and delivery is very difficult to understand, almost incomprehensible. You have a very very heavy non-english-speaker accent, you speak very fast, you merge lots of words together, your plosives are weakened (something common in what sounds like german or slavic language background), and the use of a very heavy "wuh" sound instead of "v" (Whery instead of very, for ex.), makes the delivery quite difficult to comprehend, and as a result, to follow. For this reason, it may be helpful to take some diction classes, speak slower, or get a native english speaker to record your audio. With better sound quality, it is easier to listen (especially science-based videos which are inherently fact-heavy), and more interesting to follow. With more interest, I think listening and subscription counts could go up if the quality goes up. 2. Cite your sources. Since you are presenting lots of technical information, it's important to cite your research, to give even more value and weight to your content. Txs for listening. Cheers and good work!
