Watching at half speed and Mitchie sounds absolutely blasted. One thing I noticed is that during the Ollie, your hips don't move away from the ramp, so you're not pushing off of the wall per se, but lifting your knees to you as your upper body continues with a natural motion of pumping would be.

Thank you! And you explained it all, while keeping the pump!

Youre videos are awesome and the way you explain things is amazing and easy to understand! I live in holland and work in a indoor skatepark, so im skating 3/4 times a week and practicing!
@SKATEiQ9 ай бұрын
Thank you! I love that it translates so well. That’s perfect, 3/4 days a week…. And these things are easy enough to practice that you can do it whenever you skate and you’re still gonna progress from it

Thanks for the tips! Never thought to do these basics (fakie and nollie). I was having so much fun just doing ollies all session. It's a totally different perspective.

would you get more pop and more air with an ollie on vert I assume?
@SKATEiQ9 ай бұрын
you mean like up in the actual vert? yes you get massive pop relative to the ramp as soon as you start messing with the actual vert on the ramp. but thts a good thing!
@rephotsirhc9 ай бұрын
Would you say this is harder or easier on smaller transition?
@SKATEiQ9 ай бұрын
i would say that vert lends itself to floatier ollies for less effort. but overall takes more control and is more dangerous. if you struggle with ollie fakies on small stuff i would focus on speed control, and if you struggle on vert i would focus more on rhythm

You should get new wheels. I realize small flat spots on your wheels don't really affect the skating, but they really interfere with your audio.
