This brings tears to my eyes. My mum run a milk bar/ hamburger cafe in the late 60s early 70s. We had a juke box in the corner. I remember this playing when I was in the shop. She was a beautiful person my mum. "Looking forward to that "new world" to see her again.😢

The rest of the world knew about The Seekers 50 years ago. Bit of useless knowledge - Athol Guy (Double Bass) went on to be a politician. Judith Durham said she sang hands on hips to open up her chest allowing the diaphragm room to expand fully.

The Seekers were part of the soundtrack of my growing up. My wife heard them live at the Sydney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne. An amazing sound all without modern technology.

Judith had a fabulous voice. I think this was recorded at abbey road studios

It's not Judith Durham singing an octave lower, it's Athol Guy (the bass player) ghosting Judith's melody an octave down because he's a bass singer. Good grief!
