Bruce was quiet during this interview. He was a great contributor to this group and may have been under rated! He was a solid lead singer when called upon and his songs he wrote were very good.

Judith was a real stunning beauty in her youth with an equally beautiful voice and personality to match. Bless her eternal soul. She is so very sorely missed.

One of my greatest disappointments in life was that I never got to see or hear The Seekers live, either because of work or other commitments. Oddly, I share the same problems healthwise as Judith, with 70-plus years of Eczema, asthma, emphysema and bronchiectasis, but also as a singer/musician during my teens and twenties, so I can empathise with Judith to a fair degree, including coming to terms with self-doubt etc. My two overriding influences were The Shadows and The Seekers; no-one else got a real look-in as far as I was concerned. Today, I still listen to their music, and indeed, find that their songs from later years just as compelling as those from the early days. I just wallow in the smooth harmonics and vibrancy of the Aussie Fab Four - I just love them all! I decide that I wanted to add my tuppence-worth of applause, and so I've been preparing a video of sights and sounds of The Seekers as my own personal tribute, and hoping to upload to KZbin in the next couple of weeks - if Google allows it! In the meantime, I wish the foursome every good health and happiness for the future. Thanks for 60 years of beautiful songs beautifully performed. You have been a true inspiration.

Having followed Judith closely (as closely as you can viewing on KZbin) I wouldn't be surprised if she was asked to sing a few bars right there on the spot -- and without warming up -- she sounded better than eighty percent of today's "divas."

I remember them very fondly; they or rather say, are, great people and reflect great credit on Australia as a whole. It was a pleasure hearing them through the years, especially during those early years when some of us were young.

Congratulations to the Seekers, well deserved! Great to see Judith again as haven't seen her for a little while on the most recent posts. Wonder what Keith is up to? Hope to see the concert of the 50th anniversary later this year as Athol has mentioned in a previous post that they are working on, and wouldn't a docko by the Seekers themselves be great!
