EXCELLENT. I knew Judith many years ago, I was only three or four, but my mothers best friend Ruth was the Aunt of another member of The Seekers. They often rehearsed in a bungalow at the rear of Ruth’s house, and I’d gatecrash😂 They were so talented and Judith had very strong ideas about how she wanted to sound and be presented, and I really admired that my whole life. Omg you’ve covered sooooo much! A lot of people don’t know about her post-Seekers career. This will make so many people cheer. It’s wonderful hearing such positive stuff too. (And I still think the Seekers’ We Are Australian should be our national anthem.) Thank you so much for this beautiful video🤗

Trying to truck again on the seekers i fell on this devastating news. So, Judy, the angel of my childhood is gone! The sweet elderly lady i met again on utube with the same, untouched by time angel's voice is gone. Τhough outdated, the news made me bitterly cry. For the seekers has not been for me just another group i fancied in my youth. The seekers have been the ones who opened to me the gate to the world of music, the ones who made music my refuge, my consolation, my way out from a hard misery. I often recall those days... Me, a child with a huge sentimental intelligence in a - then very poor - suburb of Athens, Greece, building up a world of my own through music... Actually "a world of our own" was the song i got to know them by. And remained my most beloved one of theirs, though all the rest of their songs were masterpieces. The music, the lyrics... but not only. Their unprecedented, amazing vocals, the solid, strong and at the same time unbelievably sweet voice of Judy. the masterful use of the bass guitar, the sound of the guitars, all these perfectly united and matched created a sound that i have never ever heard elsewhere. It would take a whole book to explain how this group and their songs have had a huge impact on myself, how they have influenced my way to life making me the person i am today. I wish a huge thank you of mine could reach the all!
