Thank you. Finally good to hear and know of another DiveWatcher that absolutely will not wear anything less than a 42mm. I’m the same exact way and I’ve been that ay ever since I began collecting back in 2001/2002. I also just so happened to have picked up another first gen orange monster which like you, that I’ve owned several variations of way back in the early 2000s. Had we only known at the time what they to become. I have a small dive watch review channel called 4 O’clock Crown @TheDiveWatcher and just recently did a review of this same classic. Enjoyed and liked. Take care.

Oh if only you'd have kept your yellow 1st gen SKZ203. limited edition of 300 and fetching over $3000. Great video btw and that 781 is a beautiful NOS piece from your friend. Ive owned every model ever released.

God there was a time I had two of these…wish I still had both.

I have both of the SKX monsters. The SKX779 and the SKX781. They are mainstays in my collection. I don't have the SKZ or SRP monsters (yet). I have added the MM300 ti/steel ratcheting clasp to mine. Makes wearing them very nice with on the fly adjust. Cheers!!

You can definitely pull off smaller sizes. From looking your wrist with the watch in, that’s the maximum before the threshold and anything bigger might look like a child wearing an adult watch, whereas if you go smaller sizes, you can generate a classic and minimal vibe.

Do they still sell Monsters? Wouldn't mine owning one
Great video, I love Seiko Monsters too. Random question: how did you turn off the lights if you had both hands on the watch?
@markcoffman4945 ай бұрын
He’s using some boom lights, the switch is a button on the floor possibly.

Wait you said your taking 5 mins to discuss a watch, the channel is called 5 min watch review and the video is 27 mins long. WTF lol. What time keeping is that? Good Lord.
