Been trying to learn the Seph matchup so I've been trying to watch as many vids as I can. I'm curious, is there a good counterplay to the neutral-b cancel bait/ledge trap? It seems like you could avoid it by just waiting to see if Seph throws it or not, but maybe I'm missing something? Does he have some sort of sneaky tech to catch people who don't approach that I'm not aware of? Or is it mostly just a conditioning tool?
@shoxas3 жыл бұрын
Mega flare with hit ya if you stay too long, also can cancel into d smash but yeah it’s best for catching onto your getup options/timing
@starmantheta20283 жыл бұрын
@@shoxas ah OK, I see. Does he have any options fast enough to catch people trying to neutral get up or roll through the explosion? Right now I'm trying to practice buffered d-smash but I can't seem to nail it fast enough. Wavebounce shadowflare maybe? Sorry if it seems like I'm grilling you. Just trying to figure out any non-obvious tech that "how to beat" guides invariably miss so I know what to look out for. Didn't know about that nasty aerial octoslash or wb shadowflare gimp tech you posted about recently, for instance.
