The Sequim Blue Hole

The Sequim Blue Hole is real, and in this video I explain how it works with a couple of beautiful graphics by yours truly. The rain in Sequim is only 1/3rd of Seattle's rainfall, and it's because of the famous Sequim Blue Hole. Imagine living in one of the most beautiful natural areas of the world with pristine forest and mountains untouched by development and the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Pacific Ocean surrounding you? Then add natural disasters like tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, forest fires, no poisonous snakes and spiders, and . . . if I may . . . no extreme temperatures either cold or hot. I lived in sequim for 18 years and honestly 9 months of the year it is grey, overcast and misty……

Hello neighbor. I have been here only ten years but my location may be what you are looking for. Out in the Dungeness Spit region you can feel it. The wind shifts high over my home from the East and slams strongly low directly into my home from the west. I believe I am at the center of the swirl. Come visit! We can take tea!

Not when I lived in that area.It got plenty of rain. It shifts in and out year to year.

Oh! Lets trade then! I dream of warm sunny days and nights back in San Diego! To me, having been here ten years, it has a California kind of vibe but I would describe it as Eastern Washington with a hint of downtown Everett. : )

The "hole" is known as "circle" here The blue circle and in some spiritualities of locals it is a sacred thing.
