As some people are questioning whether the Seraphim can develop haki due to "lack of free will", something I should have emphasized more in the video is a panel at 8:47; it's stated that bloodline elements also include recorded *experiences* of their originals. This implies the Seraphim would not need to develop haki from scratch, but rather that the haki mastery of their originals is already built into their DNA. This would explain how the Mihawk Seraphim can cut mountains.

The upper limit of what we see characters do without haki is cut buildings, whereas pretty much every large scale feat in One Piece (cutting Pica, sky splitting, etc) is revealed to only be possible through haki.

Okay, I see you have addressed my counter argument here, that Haki would be the limiting factor for Seraphims. Good work on being thorough. Appreciate it. In my opinion, even if they're able to have experiences from the originals, and that is explanation used for Seraphim getting a black blade, that would heavily down play the importance of black blades in general. Effort and Will would be degraded as anyone could potentially get a black blade on account of them being a clone of the person whom originally had one. And I don't think Oda would take the route which undermines one of the core powers in the entire series being. DF, Haki and Black blades generated using extensive Haki.

Vegapunk also said the lineage factor stores memories, so I think is very likely the more they experience the more they will develop a personality of their own that will resemble the og. Is very likely they will be able to use basic haki imo.

In regards to your discussion regarding Zoro, Mihawk, and S-Hawk it actually even makes more sense for Zoro to fight S-Hawk after Mihawk than you say here. Zoro has said multiple times that he wants to become such a powerful swordsman that even heaven knows his name, and he's also repeatedly said that he doesn't pray to God. Zoro seems to have a grudge against the heavens, likely because he is angry at the gods/heaven for killing Kuina. Who better to serve as Zoro's final opponent than heaven's strongest swordsman? What better way to make sure his name is never forgotten, even in heaven?

That's probably why the Government wanted to capture Bonney so bad, because she could speed up the aging process of the Seraphims. Some say the Gorosei would be those subordinates for the Straw Hat crew to fight but I also think they aren't set up to be fighters. That's why I like what you have to say about the Seraphim here. Rather than having huge combat strength I imagine the Gorosei to have some divine protection ability, a force field of light surrounding them making them (at least seemingly) invulnerable. It could be something bestowed upon them by Imu or some ancient technology and I think that would fit the imagery of the untouchable gods they strive to appear as. Maybe we'll see Saturn guy the next couple chapters chilling behind his light wall and commanding the seraphim.

If this is a likely story line, here's a thought. The only way for IM to have access to the seraphim is by having one of the gorosei get access to them. Thus explaining Saturn on Egghead Island. The problem with Vegapunk saying the seraphims being the most powerful beings in the history of the sea is the assumption that he had seen the way Gorosei/Imu fought. Because if that wasn't the case, then we can very much consider it as just his opinion or experience which is as much subjective as people saying Whitebeard or Kaido being the strongest man/creature when that would go against the narrative (Final villain being the ACTUAL strongest character). And this can be supported by Vegapunk's LIMITED knowledge of the FULL history of the world by his own words. The fact that he did not know the full extent of the world's history HIGHLY implies that his comment on the seraphims being the most powerful beings in the "history" of the sea basically means "The seraphims are by far, IN MY UNDERSTANDING of the battles I've seen/witnessed throughout my entire life and the history that I PERSONALLY know, to be the strongest beings to exist, which I could be wrong." Because remember, if his words mean in actuality, he would have taken into account of Luffy's full power in gear 5 as well which we all know, he hasn't since Luffy is only messing around with Lucci. Them being technically organic is also important as that way it might be possible for them to use Haki, something a full robot like a Pacifista wouldn't be able to, and as we saw with Luffy Vs Kaido Haki is VERY important.

It's programming that is in reality, *conditioning* Consider how the Seraphim _took it upon themselves_ to breach the Labo-sphere alongside CP0 on their own without being ordered to when the shield went down. There's also the humanity comment from Zoro, and Vegapunk's (Lilith's) own admittance that they couldn't fully get rid of their personality (paraphrasing here), shown later with S-Boa getting flustered when complimented by the SH. Those examples last the groundwork for the Seraphim to have access to Haki. That bit of free will is enough. Think of the clones from Star Wars, most notably as they are portrayed by the Clone Wars show. In fact, that's the perfect supporting example.

There might be powerful Celestial Dragon families who actually have Devil Fruits and who actually mastered Haki in different forms. We saw the fat, lazy ones in the suits. However, Oda gave use brief silhouettes of Celestial Dragons being tall, thin, and wearing white hoods. We might get Celestial Dragon fighters who are deeply committed to following Imu like the Gorosei.

Yep, I'm totally on board. I think the Seraphim are meant to represent Nephilim, which I think can be translated to mean giant. Since the final war will probably parallel Marineford, imagine the strawhat alliance is deep into Mariejois, walls rise from the ground, and suddenly there's a small army of dozens, or even hundreds, of Seraphim of varying ages ready to take them on. This would be a good final threat and a good counter to the absurd numbers a Marine-Pirate alliance is bound to have. Where they have to gang up on a single Seraphim like 30-50 to one. thinking of the final fights got my imagination running wild: I figure Zoro will learn how to fully control and use Asura for an entire fight when fighting Mihawk, and that's how he wins. Now Imagine that Zoro, fighting a giant, Lunarian Mihawk who has the Hito-Hito no mi model: Asura. Since Zoro conjures Asura from willpower or whatever, imagine his final form will be learning how to project a giant avatar of himself in Asura when fighting Giant Asura-Lu-Mihawk! In fact, Giant Strawhats for Everyone! Giant, Gear-5 Luffy fighting Imu. Giant, Asura-Zoro vs Asura-Lu-Mihawk. Nami makes a Giant mirage of herself, thundercoulds, Zeus and lightning coiling around herself, together with a Giant, Demon-Robin vs Lu-Boa or whatever. Or Giant-Demon Robin has a giant army of Giant-clones of herself as an awakening! Sanji makes gigantic flames that maybe are vaguely man-shaped vs awakening, Giant, Lu-Flamingo! Like Kaido's flame dragon, but Sanjier! Jimbei needs to improve and inspired by Lu-Jimbei, pioneers a new fishman karate style that can work on solid earth, representing that fishpeople also belong on the surface and is like Toph discovering metal-bending. Brook, a Giant, spirit version of himself, covered in chilled underworld flames fighting the Seraphim army while playing musinc raising the morale and fighting ability of the alliance with his music. Chopper can master his monster form in elbaf or whatever, either learning to use it with no drawbacks or rumble balls, or unlocking a form similar to Lucci, Yamato or Luffy. Then, adding his final rumble ball during the final fight to make an Extra-Giant version of that to fight the army. That or he's relegated to combat-medic because Oda is gonna Oda and do my boy dirty like always. Franky has the Sunny Transform! into a Giant robot with equal power to Pluton! Enough said. This better happen Oda! It better have a drill, Oda! Usopp is the General-Commander of the alliance and the Giants and usses his full plant arsenal to make himself a sort of Giant-Plant-Armor-Mech, complete with Giant slingshot! The final Saga is gonna be good!

If Blackbeard's really a failed clone of Xebec with a weird body that can have 3 Devil Fruits like recent theories are suggesting, and if the final battle happens after the Blackbeard battle, logical escalation of the odds tells us the final Seraphim, or IMU's personal, non-mass-produced Seraphim, will have multiple Devil Fruits. That and the greenblood in itself is a weakness, ugly and something Vegapunk will probably fix by the end. Vegapunk will certainly find a way to replicate Blackbeard's physiology and Logias. This whole thing has been about how Haxx and OP science can be. Lu-Mihawk will likely have the Asura fruit. And I hope he has Mr. 1's Devil Fruit as well. So in a sense, Oda has written the One Piece versions of the Clone Troopers from Star Wars except instead of making millions of good quality forces, he only made 7 (assumed), souped-up, giant, Lunarian ver of 7 powerful characters in One piece for the best quality. Where programming is the failsafe (the command hierarchy), while _conditioning_ is the Seraphim act and carryout those orders. Seeing as they still have a bit of personality in them and more importantly, self-thinking (ex. Going to the labo-sphere on their own without orders).

Im pretty sure they will be used as Enemys in the final war, but im also sure they wont be fighting the Strawhats. I think we will see Mihawk, Pell, Pauli, Bartolomeo and other Charakters from all over the Sea fighting together against them. And they might just switch Sides, to get a Chance for freedom. If they manage to choose. The final Enemy will likely be the Group of Gorosei, Imu and maybe 4 other Guys. Maybe Admirals, maybe CP0, maybe someone else. 6:12 specifically the highest Hirachy of Angles directly above other Angels like Cerubins, or Powers.

I'm on board with the idea that seraphims will fight with Im, but I don't think that mihawk seraphim will be stronger than mihawk. We have seen the seraphim's power and its strong only as a kid, but we also haven't seen mihawk try either. I believe that mihawk's experience+willpower and thus HAKI will make him stronger than his seraphim. We have already been told that HAKI trumps all. No matter what "science" buffs the seraphims have, it's willpower that is most important.

As much as it will seem that the Seraphim are going to be Imu's subordinates, things as they are say it will be unlikely. Vegapunk, Stussy, & Sentomaru going to leave with the Strawhats, and since CP0 are currently incapacitated, it seems that the Seraphim will leave with them too. Without Veagapunk or his labs in operational condition to facilitate their growth, the Seraphim will likely remain children for the forseeable future, likely all the way to the end. And more likely than not, Imu probably already has Seraphim lieutenants and subordinates. As for Kizaru, St. Jay Garcia, and their forces, all odds point to the Strawhats avoiding them all together. It would be dumb luck if they managed to meet in the open seas with the likes of Nami & Jimbei helming navigations and plotting their course. If they do manage to arrive at Egghead before Luffy & co. leave, it would like take a nuclear threat from Imu himself to make the Strawhats surrender Vegapunk, his stellas, and the Seraphim, though I suspect Atlas would be left behind because of her state.

Funny how zoro is going to fight an opponent that is a combination of his prior enemies, Daz taught him how to cut steel, King taught him how to use advance conquerers haki and mihawk is his goal to surpass. S-Hawk is all of them combined and amped up to 11.

If we look at Zoro's three big fights in the New World I think we can find a clue towards S-Hawk's hidden devil fruit ability. King was a Lunarian, as S-Hawk will be. Pika was a stone giant, and so was a giant like S-Hawk will be. And Monet was a snow harpy, which leads me to think that S-Hawk will possesses an upgraded version of this - Kuzan's ice devil fruit, a devil fruit user whose DNA Vegapunk will 100% possess. Not only will this give Zoro a logia type to fight, but it can bring full circle the fight against Aokiji the Straw Hat's lost pre-timeskip. A conflict we are unlikely to ever see again. This would give S-Hawk a fire and ice battle style representing the same duality we found in Punk Hazard, where the seeds for the Seraphim experiments were first established.

I only have one question. The Seraphim will not respond to Im, since Vegapunk doesn’t know about it’s existence, only to the five elders. If the Seraphim are meant to be that strong, wouldn’t it be simpler to just defeat the Elders? Because since Vegapunk is on our side, and Im doesn’t have the power to control them, once the Elders are defeated (which from your video, it seems like end game Franky could take) the Seraphim are ours. Maybe we get something of a double battle. Each Seraphim fight a stronger straw hat while the weaker straw hats (like Nami) get to defeat the Elders, so the Seraphim can switch sides.

All this time we've been assuming that Caribou is going to tell someone of the two Ancient Weapons he knows about, and he probably still will, but he was also present when Shinobu aged up Momonosuke with her fruit. We've seen that the effects of Bonney's fruit are temporary, which is probably why the WG says they're done with her. If they manage to nab Caribou there's a possibility that he'll spill everything and the WG might wind up targetting Wano to capture Shinobu in order to permanently age up the Seraphim.

I think this would make a lot of sense, because at that point the final battle will be against the last of the three great powers. By that point, we'll have defeated the Four Emperors, we'll have defeated the three Admirals, and this would be a very good excuse for us to fight and beat all seven of the Warlords of the Sea, an organization that was built up as one of the three great powers but was always the weakest of the three, basically a joke because most of them either defected or were defeated as individuals, never as a unified group.

one issue i have with this is that if the strawhats defeat the seraphim on egghead, it will be a stain on their record and make them less impactful as antagonists. yes, obviously theyre going to get stronger, but theres always gonna be that thought of "well zoro already beat s hawk and sanji already beat s shark, so i'm not sweating it." compared to someone like kaido, who got hyped up as invincible, then one shotted luffy in their first encounter, then beat him 2-3 more times after that, the seraphims just wouldnt be as impactful.

It makes more sense for Mihawk to fight S Mihawk than Zoro fight both of them at different times, the reason i say that is assuming the Seraphim reach adult stage and get more powerful, it would be a great chance for Mihawk to flex his powers before the final fight against Zoro, that way we see what Mihawk is truly capable of against a decent opponent before his final clash with Zoro

While your theory makes perfect sense logically and lorewise, what makes one piece fights great is the amount of characterization and the relations between the opponents. There is no setup for any character, even outside of the SHs, to fight a Seraphim. So I hope Oda doesn't make the Seraphim the final opponents.

The seraphim have no autonomy or dreams, so a potential matchup against them isn't really exciting, especially with Zoro fighting the S-hawk right after his duel with Mihawk, which would just be repetitive. Not to mention how devoid of tension the fights would be knowing that they can switch to the Straw hat side with the press of a button

The Vegapunk argument at the end is very convincing, but I would argue that Vegapunk, as perfectionist as he is, is not an authority on strength like someone like Roger would be. I think willpower/convicition surpassing technical prowess would go more in line with One Piece's themes. I see the final war being a clash between these 2 ideals, with the World Government symbolizing minute/scientific/technical control while the pirates symbolize willpower and freedom beyond rational thought (dreams). In summary, I think the Seraphim are the strongest beings imaginable within the rational boundaries of the World Government while people like Luffy embody the will to go beyond this logic.

All this tells me is that Zoro doesn't end up fighting Mihawk because it would seem redundant to fight the same character twice. Suryu will probably beat Mihawk or something and then lose to Zoro. But then, the Seraphim Mihawk would have to be notably more powerful in order for the battle to seem satisfying.

I question whether all the Straw Hats will get Seraphim opponents. I can easily see Zoro, Sanji, Jinbe, and maybe Robin and Franky fighting them. But Usopp? Personally, I imagine that some of the Straw Hats' stronger allies who are part of the final fight might face the Seraphim, while the weaker Straw Hats might fight other strong opponents (for them) like CP0 or high ranking Marines.
