The Serious Problem With Gender Equality

There is a serious problem in the world of gender equality.
Both the extremist feminists and the extremist mens rights activists are ruining healthy debate in the world at large.
We need to quieten the extreme voices and engage in adult debate to make the world a better place for our children.
Neither gender deserves to live in unfair conditions in this world, and there is still plenty of unfairness to go around.

@pebzee he doesn’t tho that’s one of the reason we don’t have equal right feminists say that women are treated unequal but that’s not true if they were really treated unequal they would be able to get in a fight with a man and go to jail just like the man or in divorces if you ever get a divorce and you and your husband have the same paying jobs your still gonna get money just because your a women they really treat men like shit and you guys still want more power you guy basically have the power to kill a man and get away with it no cool not cool

@@sic.4191 1. Why is hitting the first and only issue you have and thing you want to be able to do? You shouldn't want to hit anyone. 2. Men are simply stronger. It would cause more damage if the typical man hit the typical woman and also if you are a typical man woman scenario then you could easily just hold or push them away. 3. If your only option to defend yourself is to hit them then I believe that should be allowed. 4. WOMEN SHOULDN'T BE HITTING MEN EITHER. That is something I believe good feminists (like I believe myself to be) should also be arguing. I also think this is the most important out of all of these points

There's no such thing as fairness, never has and never will be, of course that doesn't mean I like that or enjoy it, but that's something we have to live with, an example of that is, how women never approach men even if they have a strong interest or attraction towards a certain guy, and despite how modern Human Society has become, it apparently still remains in woman's nature to wait for men to make the first move
@lpsluckykitty9443
@lpsluckykitty9443 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah but while that may be the expectation of “society” that doesn’t mean all women are that way. Countless women in my family asked the men out instead of “waiting for him” to ask them out. You are stereotyping, therefor going against everything you had just said. I apologize if I’m calling you out but if you are going to make a statement at least see it from a non-biased point of view. Just because society says that is the way things have to be done doesn’t mean that that is always the case. Not all women are like this. To me, it doesn’t matter who takes the first step in a relationship. As long as it’s a healthy and balanced relationship it shouldn’t matter who asked who out first. :)

Women want equality of rights and privileges, not duties and obligations. For example when it comes to the military draft less than half of women are in favor or including them in a military draft.… What happened to wanting to be equal? “Public support for such a change has divided sharply along gender lines. In a 2016 Rasmussen poll, 61% of men favored extending draft registration to everyone in the 18-to-25 age cohort, while only 38% of women supported doing so.“

I'm a 25 girl, unmarried, and was very happy about this until I realized the down side. It's like living far from your family - yes, you feel independent, unrestricted, and able to live for yourself. But with age, you realize that living for yourself is entertaining, but not fulfilling. You don't need to rush into marriage, and when you're married don't rush out of the marriage. But the journey of life spent with another gives you something precious that can't be bought. That companionship, even if it ends badly, is better than ending alone. When I was younger, I looked at all the divorce out there and misery and hatred between exes, and I thought “I'm not going to make some one miserable, I'm not going to spend my life with someone I hate” …well, that's like saying “I'm not going to drive a car because of all the accidents.” Thats not the answer - the answer should be to wear seatbelts, take precautions. My resolution SHOULD have been “I'm going to love my spouse, for whoever he is, and I'm going to give him my best.” Instead, I chose to live for me, and that's who I got …just me. Find someone to love, and give them your best. Like an ocean voyage, it may not last forever but at least you gave it your best shot. And there may be many perils and storms, but atleast you survived them with someone. The relationships that I've had were very special to me and I wish I had gotten married. Instead, I married my “independence”. The people that get divorced and hate each other, they didn't know how to love, they were selfish - it wasn't “marriage” that created the misery, it was their unwillingness to love each other. Love is willing to accommodate (not a reluctant willingness, but an eager willingness), even when you don't really want to. Even when there's no gain from it. Even when the other person is annoying, or stinky, or exhausting. And when you can love your spouse like that, chances are your spouse will, too. And yes, it's POSSIBLE that you might love a person who doesn't, or can't, love their spouse …and that is sad. It really is. But I'd rather go to the Olympics and fail, than never go at all. Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful and is not conceited. Love is not rude or self-seeking. I'm waiting for the right one. If you agree with what I said, then contact my whatsapp: +447901380061 I travel around the world, and my love won't be limited by district. Never Ever Part As Lovers.

I am sure, the more time you take to choose a good partner the better your marriage will be and the easier it will be to spend the Rest of your lifes together. If both choose eachother according to their values and goals in life and constantly grow in this direction then the marriage is sure to last a lifetime. People should take responsibility for their actions and if i choose a woman i will make the marriage work and divorce is not an option, if you aren't sure you want to spend the rest of your life with someone and start a family then don't marry. Marriage is a beautiful symbiosis meant to last a lifetime.

@Angel Martyr healthy people don't. Sex never can be meaningless, some people just deny to accept the true purpose of sex, and since the purpose of sex is reproduction you should not fuck someone you don't want to start a family and spend the rest of your life with. We just need to return to good conservative values in order to make the world a better place, in the last decades the moral decay peaked and we need to work towards a healthy society again. Who here is interested in starting to work on a healthier society now?

It happened to me just earlier today in our very first lecture of the semester, professor claimed it was due to gender inequality that no women represented the small groups we were divided into for the 5 min of talking time afterwards, and so of course it's "gender inequality". Despite women being the most talkative in those smaller groups and the fact that most of the men atm already have a year behind them while most of the women are freshmen this semester in my course. Has nothing to do with gender inequality as it hasn't been for years until these 5 minutes of uni time. This is just absurd to claim it to be something it's not without looking at every single other reason first, maybe they just happen to be shy? Maybe the more senior students are more comfortable talking on the VERY FIRST DAY? I'm so fed up by this nonsense, claiming every single little thing to be something it most likely is not in the majority of cases.

One of the things I've noticed about extremists of any sort (even folks who are extreme about sports, anime, music, etc.) is that other areas of their lives are often lacking. That why they have time and energy to become extremists. You rarely ever hear about extremists having thriving business, careers, marriages, etc. People may hold intense views, but they don't have the time or energy to do the work of contaminating debate. Their personality type makes it difficult for them to excel in other areas of life. Moderates simply don't have time to get into it with them. We see their ridiculous posts/comments and think to ourselves, "I have too many other things to do than deal with that level of stupid right now."

Saying feminists only focus on one group is reductionist at best and blatantly false at worst. Feminism is an old movement, the name is old and possibly outdated. However, the vast majority of feminists and feminist philosophers think that what feminism is doing helps men too. The dismantlement of the patriarchy is allowing men to express their feelings and pursue careers in traditionally female areas, like nursing.

Besides, feminism isn't a group, it's a worldwide ideology. Even if you could get people to agree with you, there is no group to move "from" or any group to move "to". They're still believing the same things so they'll call themselves what those beliefs are typically called: feminism.

@@voiceofreason2691 First we need to clear our minds, refresh it without any influence of other ideology. What is the cost of gender equality, what is gender equality without without thinking other ideology that puts in your mind. Gender equality, equality word comes from 1=1 so when we acheive gender equality we delete the name male and female we called our selves in the same name of gender. What happens if the man totally accept equality, we argue that most of man doesnt agree with the equality. How about if all man agree. We have same name of gender we can call is all female. We use same comfort room, less sex atraction cause we have same hair style, can use same clothes. Government doesnt care anymore what we called women before is working now in loggings, minings, fisheries, etc. Then by that time what is family. How long we can go far what we called gender equality. What does it cost? Uniqueness? Atraction? Family? Reproduction? Does it really cares for what kind of right? Selfish rights, do career really matters or money matters? How many years it will cost before one day a man recognizes woman again. How many centuries before woman feel a love of a man, how many years before children see a mother always by their side at home, how many years again when people saw a father working for a family. What is the real cost of gendee equality. There are 100jobs, 300 people 100men 100 women 100 kids. How many men will have no jobs and how many women will not be available for the kids. If this thing insults your feelings, then gender equality is inevitable amd the cost is also inevitable. Then how many years we can see it again?

There are always 2 sides to every coin: Such as seen traditionally: Women: sex with many: lose/lose Men: sex with many: win/ win Women: sex with 1: win/win Men: sex with 1: win/win Women: no sex: win/win Men: no sex: lose/lose And men have to make the first move, but also women can’t make the first move (contemporarily for both ofc). Which make finding a partner difficult for both sides under varying conditions. Unfortunately as we get closer to equality we bring up more problems on either side. Problems that before we would have never thought of because that’s “just how it is”. Inequality will always exist, it’s quite literally in our nature but we have learned in the past 10 years to be more accepting of our differences. Now we need to make sure that as these new problems come to light, we can talk about them and find ways to be aware of them so we do not become all over again the very thing we swore to destroy.

Well yes men man and women will never be the same - so there will always be differences... The issue is that it should be okay for men or women to do WHATEVER without judgment - meaning the more gendered behaviours not breaking the law obv. - That seems a very long way off though.

@@SchoolOfAttraction Yes I agree. At the core we really are different, people just need to be able to accept it on both sides so we can become better and more understanding people. It really like you said all comes down to extremists, like incels and radical feminists, which also influence normally rational people. Unfortunately there will always be extremists who put women down, then women who want equality, but extremists who put men down for being extremists. And it makes men push back and women to be justified for their opinions, so the cycle starts over again. Really is a first world problem if I ever seen one. But I think we’ll only ever reach that when weve ascended as a planet and reached a point where we start worrying about other things like space exploration.

Do women can get a gender equality?? It's depends. The main question now is not about do they can have it or not. But do they worthy to get that title or opposite of it. Having a gender equality between male and female human is gonna make a lot of impact and changes to the earth. If they be able to past all the test then we give them their right desires. But if they can't past the test then just sit at your place and drink the chocolate moose.

Western and or Northern Society is too equal now days and equality is against nature and that's why communism didn't work. Life ain't a game... Life is unfair and always should be. Life will become pointless for example if Rich didn't have nothing to lose and poor nothing to reach... And surviving ain't issue specially here in Northern Europe, because government pays to the poor and medical services are free... And aventyally Life will become like a game and the meading will disappear, if everything becomes equal, easy/fun... I don't know why ppl does not understand that "THERE IS NO GOOD WHITOUT BAD"

Actually I tend to believe men are just as emotional, but we're taught at an early age to bury most of our emotions, so we grow up a bit emotionally stunted on average.

@@SchoolOfAttraction I completely agree but I also think it's important to point out that they're are more single mothers than ever and the vast majority of daycare workers and elementary school teachers are female and it's mostly them teaching boys to bottle up their emotions since they don't want to deal with crying children and boys cry the most when they're younger.

We could never be equal as God made us differently. A Woman can hit you, yell at you in public, cheat on you, can try to play you for a fool and try to use you & ask a Man for help if something is too heavy or (they're just lazy) even though the job stated that they would be expected to be able to perform (and they agreed) the task & finally they're 'feelings' are more respected and treated as fact prior to any investigation or actual proof. Men on the other hand...are always trying to get their way with them, intimidate them (if you're not smiling, ignoring or being over friendly with them), Are "automatically intimidated' by them if they're in a position of power just cause you question they're delusional ideas or comments... sarcasm

I get what you say, but you're the words and examples you're using are extremely wrong. A feminazi saying all men are rapists may insult every man. It hurts, but that's all. A man who says that a woman deserves to be raped is threatening them and claiming they should be assaulted. That isn't activism, that's terrorism. Feminazis may be extremists and very wrong, but don't put them on the same level as a man who says a woman should be raped, and please, don't call them "activists".
