Even better than the last! I never realized the parallels between Twin Peaks and P4! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the setting(s) of Mother 3. Can’t wait to see more from this channel! 🎉

it's always a bit on the nose for me when videos like this are titled "something something persona" but when you look at it it's exclusively 3-5 being spoken about, not hating its just funny how that happens

Haha totally fair. I almost went with “Hashino’s Persona” because they’re the portion of the series directed by him, but I figured most people wouldn’t know who that is and might confuse them (plus it wasn’t JUST Katsura Hashino that worked on these games), so then I was left with either putting “3-5” or just leaving it at Persona, and the latter just looked cleaner so I went with that. Can’t speak for others but I imagine it’s a similar reason for why this particular block of the series is commonly just shortened to “Persona” rather than specifying which ones, but it unfortunately does lend weight to the argument that people overlook the first trilogy which is too bad because they’re fantastic games.

@@softresetreviews 3-5 would've been somewhat clunky but more honest

@@aliceyuri I mean, Persona’s 3-5 are still part of the Persona series lol. But I take your point

@@softresetreviews they are, but the title implies a broader application

@@aliceyuri Going off of only the title, I’d agree; but I think the thumbnail clearly illustrates which three games are being discussed from the broader series so I’m fine with it.

I could have sworn the issue was accepting the difference of masculinity and femininity, what people would think of his taking up his mother's craft. Remember that the shadow world was showing exaggerated aspects of themselves and the real issue voiced by the party members upon defeating them. He didn't stop liking Nato upon finding out she was a girl, that was what he noticed and made him conflicted with what he thought she was. Even the Japanese corresponds with this characterization. And Yousuke is a kid. He's not being deliberately hateful, it's a normal reaction for young men encountering that or what they think is that. He's the most outgoing party member and archetype.
