There’s many preachers that lie and they’re not experts in doctrine as Rabbi Slovak. Where they readily teach what they do not know.

Thanks for sharing this Rabbi. I just finished my fifth semester of Biblical Hebrew, and being confused as a non-Jew I didn’t know what to do. You gave me hope that there is hope that I don’t have to remain in the Christian movement.

Todah Raba Rabbi. I am from Philippines and have been practicing to follow the "kosher" diet for around 4 or 5 years. So I have been avoiding meat that are non kosher or fit as food and I can say it's not easy. G-d bless.

I like the Noahide concept but there really isn't evidence of the 7 Laws written in Genesis--we are supposed to accept what is written in the Talmud. Why aren't the Noahide Laws spelled out in the Bible?
@SeedOfElijah5 ай бұрын
@111Benzie I have tried to figure where the authority for this comes from and it seems to be solely the Rabbi's authority. That's of a different nature than mine so the only thing I can positively contribute is that the Sabbath need be taught because it was revealed at Sinai. Keep the Sabbath, the 7th day, perpetually, is not the wording. Remember the Sabbath, to keep it holy , allows for a future with a different day and no day if one remembers where it originated and why. If its important to keep it IN SPACE, it needs be passed down to everyone. NNIMOO

Use your intelligence. If there were no laws… then the people of the flood weren’t doing anything wrong. Same with Sodom. There were laws, obviously.

Also, the 7 are the foundation of the 10. Look at the 10… people were already doing them before they were given.

Just a note, for any book to go into the New Testament, it was required to cross reference the Old Testament, as Matthew 5:17 and Isaiah 42:21! Rabbis should love this as there’s many that do not know this and a whole lot more.

As for the question of Why aren't the Noahide Laws spelled out in the Bible. Maybe because then they'll be (allegedly) open for interpretation and everyone will take them as they see fit and not care about the truth of them which (like all commandment) is vast and oral, and no other nation has the tradition of keeping them, so the healthy (and only way) to know their truth is to contact the Jews (Talmud).

I guess I am weird, I just have different take on the Racheal thing. What kind of person was Leah to go along with a deal like that? She destroyed her sister. Laban destroyed both his girls. Leah didn’t want to be humiliated, but it’s okay to absolutely devastate Rachael and take her husband. Leah and Laban were wrong. Rachael was wrong to go along with it as was Jacob. He should have said no. Rachael is my wife and I’m not going to be manipulated and humiliated so y’all can get what you want in the wrong way. As for the guy sitting by the mikvah thinking he was all that, I would have turned a hose on him and sent him on the way like a stray dog. I don’t care what he had to offer, I would want my kids to be a reflection of my husband. Lastly, jealousy is a crazy emotion, if you want something, go get it in the right way and bring others along the way so they can succeed. Otherwise, stand down and be quiet and enjoy what you have. And, don’t put stuff on Facebook!
