My list would definitely include the Guitar Hotel. I think it is one of the most unique buildings in the world, and has become an iconic landmark

Thanks for the two wonderful "Wonders" videos. Just moved to Florida. Now I have to plan for 14 places to visit.

The Citrus Tower in Clermont used to be a wonderful place to visit. Of course, that was before all the orange groves were destroyed and now you see nothing but houses everywhere instead of beautiful land and groves. Speaking as a Florida native, I miss the old Florida!

Yes, I wish all of these no account idiots would move back to their home states.

The wonderful smell of orange blossoms 😢😢

The orange groves were destroyed by the three hard freezes we had in the 80's. As a multigen Floridian here you should remember those freezes and their impact on our citrus industry.

I was going to recommend Bok Tower and Gardens, but then it was on the "honorable mentions". The Frank Lloyd Wright buildings on the Florida Southern College campus in Lakeland are pretty neat also.

I love Bok Tower and I hope to get back out there soon for a video.

@@SunshineStateInsider I go there almost weekly. I love that place! While we're at it, let me put in plug for Fort Desoto, and the associated fortifications on Egmont Key.

I went on a boy scout trip to florida once and we stopped at Cape Kennedy. We didnt know it at the time but one of the scouts dad was an astronaut and he was very quiet about it, but we got a VIP tour. Mission Control, launch pad, VAB. We got to touch Discovery as it was being retiled.

Sunshine State Insider, your description of the construction of the Coral Castle reminds me of construction of Machu Picchu, in that there was no mortar used in it, either.

Clearwater hosted The Kapok Tree Restaurant. Cypress Gardens was outside of Lakeland and used to be an amazing garden and exhibit venue.

Pretty sure I saw a brick foundry on Fort Jefferson. I definitely don’t think they shipped bricks from the mainland lol

Imagine the super luxury hotel that could be built adjacent to Fort Jefferson. They have such a hotel adjacent to Machu Picchu
