I remember some bad comedy back in the 80's, and definitely the 90's. Also some great stuff that has been buried now and totally forgotten. Steve Landsberg on SNL comes to mind. He|| even Leo Buscaglia lectures would have some better jokes than what we hear today. I think the crux of it is that because of internet/social media meme culture has taken over to the point, where most people under the age of 35 think that link-sharing a joke, funny pic or a YT vid of some chick being snarky(not funny) and then flipping off the camera, is the most hilarious thing they're ever seen. It's translated to live comedy on the stage. The dogmatic insistence on PC speech policing and need to virtue signal wokeness, also haven't helped matters any.

If by facts you mean opinions stated with arrogant confidence, then I guess lol. Conservative comedy is the absolute worst. There's a reason most great comedians of the past and present were liberals or at the very least independent. They challenged the establishment instead of trying to enforce it. Comedy is also about punching up and self deprecating. Two things conservative comics have a terrible time with. They feel the need to escape goat minorities and women and lack any self aware introspection or nuanced thought
