For Herjavec, who spoke no English, the transition proved difficult. Having grown up on a farm and raised by his grandmother among neighbors with similar lifestyles, he found himself in a much poorer economic class than his neighbors."

Update: this company is still in business with annual revenue of $5 million. The putters were named one of the best putters for 2022. One putter is in a British museum. Networth went from 1 million to 2 million. I read that they used Robert's money to fulfill orders, but the deal with Robert fell through (not sure what that means). And, Philip has since married his fiance.

Japan developed that in recent history. Post-war they were known for cheap, garbage products, kind of how China is viewed by many Americans today.

Sometimes the stories really get to you. But they also help drive the person behind the story to drive the business much further.

The moment he held the putter in his hand, he was sold. BTW the crying story tells you about the motivation the entrepreneur has but does not impact the business equation.

Barbara: I love golf, it is the best thing in the world and I am really interested in the product, it's slim, nice designed, lightweight and this product can change the whole world! But... Kronos: Great! We appreciate your positive comments 😎 Barbara: But, I'm out.. Kronos: Dafuq lady?..

I guess I'm the only one that thinks his story and crying led to the final shark throwing in a worse offer than he would have because they were so motivated to make a sale. If that isn't blood in the water of the Shark Tank I don't know what is.

What a motivational story ! My fiancé is my motivation to keep going and keep fighting for my health. When I get a kidney transplant, our plan is to get married on the beach in El Salvador, all that is holding me back is my health, I pray every day 🙏🏼

Ironic. Putter does well in Japan. Yet, his fiance's parents in Japan did not approve of his putter company. Should teach them to golf, free putters then they would be believers.

I could see this working, every golfer looks for the perfect clubs for them. Offer something like this and it feels really good to them, it's essentially a done deal.
